OMD! You are not going to believe what I’m fixing to tell you my friends. I’m so excited. Really I am. See me all stretched out there on my ottoman? I’m watching television. Not just any show though. Mom couldn’t sleep one night – go figure – so she was surfing the channels on the television and came across something amazing. How amazing you ask?! Out of this world amazing. You see there is a channel specifically for us pooches. It’s called DogTV. Have you heard of it? OMD – it’s amazing! It’s specifically for dogs who are left alone during the day/night so it can help with separation anxieties. They have different shows – relaxation, stimulation, soothing music to help your dog sleep and all kinds of other videos. Now you are probably laughing and wondering does it work though?
Mom tried it on me the other night. I watched. I mean I really watched. The color of the videos are more towards dog vision and the music is so comforting. I actually fell asleep. It was awesome! You don’t believe me though, do you? Okay – I found a short video on You Tube so I can show you. Check it out – this is relaxation.

This month, we are focusing on gifts. Since Christmas was just last month, let’s focus on that one thing that you received that was absolutely wonderful. Maybe it wasn’t from Christmas – perhaps it was on your birthday last year. What is it – why can’t you live without it?
Okay this month it’s easy. What’s the ONE gift that mom can’t live without? Of course, it would have to be her Apple i-Watch that her sister gave her. It does everything. It’s like an extension of her cell phone that she wears on her wrist. It’s a watch. It’s a phone. It’s a trainer. It’s a therapist with her breathing and stress levels. It keeps up with her steps/her miles. It challenges her to be more. It does everything! So yes, that would be the one gift that mom can’t live without. Much, MUCH thank you to her sister – Tina!
So today is the last full day that our guests are here. That sucks. I mean really it does. We have all had such a fantastic time playing and laughing with them. Last night we had a few friends over.
I lost my watch. I know who would have thought that me as a pig would wear a watch but I do. I gotta keep up with my social hour. So at this party, I noticed my watch was gone. Across the room, one of our guests had been drinking too much and I saw him starting to harass mom. That’s when I noticed he was standing on my watch. The nerve of him. I walked right up to him, snouted him in the chins and then hit him with my head knocking him over. No one does that to my mom. Not on my watch. Snorts with piggy laughter.
Name a movie that you have seen more than 3 times. This is easy here at the Hotel Thompson. Mommy LOVES the Jurassic Park movies – all of them. If she is having an icky day or wants to sleep with some sound on in the background, she *always* pops in Jurassic Park. She says it something about the roar of the dinosaurs that helps her to relax. Snorts – yeah okay. What if they were roaring in person – would she like them so much then? Snorts with piggy laughter.

Dear Bacon – I’ve been hiding most of the day from my brother. I ate his breakfast. There I admit it. I ate his breakfast. So what. He snoozed and he lost. Dear Bacon – There’s a standing rule in this house whether your are anipal or human, when one is sleeping you do not wake them. I have to go wizzle. I’ve had this strange feeling for a LONG time. But, as you can see kitty is sleeping on me. If I move, she will wake. If I wake her, she will be in a bad mood. So I wait with this pained look on my face. Signed Helpless.
Dear Signed Helpless – I know the feeling my friend. Well personally I don’t know the feeling but my mom knows the feeling. She has been in your position numerous times with one of us in her arms. Just keep your head up and those legs tight.

He made a game out of it and threw in all of my closest friends. See, I even thought about you with Super Piggy in the front. He reminds me of you. What surgery? I know no pain here. Dear Confused – You know what friend. You have a wonderful point on fetch. I understand this completely. Humans do say they are playing ‘fetch’. I think we should try it your way.
