Barks! Greetings my sweet friends. You know I’m getting ready for Halloween here – fun times at the Hotel Thompson. And yes, you get to see my costume before everyone else does. What do you think? I back the boys in blue and stand behind them. Call me Patrol Officer H. Thompson – sounds official huh? I’m thinking of wearing this to mom’s work with her on Halloween. Should be fun. They already call me her office mascot – barks with puppy laughter.
And check it out – I have handcuffs, a baton and a hat. I’m in official attire in my dress blues. Would you want me to frisk and arrest you? I’ve gotta get more training on reading the Miranda rights though. Mom says lots of humans don’t speak anipal. How do they live, right?
So now I leave you with my Jokes with Dad in his last Halloween joke – did you like them and the way he ‘dressed’ for the occasion? We saved the best for last – barks! He’s such a diva!
See my football in this picture? That’s me playing football over the week. Daddy was trying to get my football and play with me. See the look I gave him? Doesn’t he know that this is *my* football? He’s got his own footballs – go chase them, right? Do ya’ll have anything planned this weekend? Mom seems to be nesting a bit. I think she has too much energy built up anticipating her upcoming surgery. The woman is going mad here cleaning. Someone help me… barks with puppy laughter.
This week I leave you with another Jokes with Daddy. He had great fun doing these for Halloween. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend my friends – Barks!
Sometimes a pooch just has to do what a pooch has to do. You know what I mean? Like for instance sometimes at night I’m ready to go to bed before mom/dad. So I grabbed Mr. Donkey and went towards my bedroom… AKA mom/dad’s bedroom. I jumped in the bed with Mr. Donkey, we snuggled in and I went to sleep. This is how mom found me later on in the evening when she couldn’t find me. What? I’m big enough to admit that I like to cuddle when I go to sleep. Mom/dad weren’t there to cuddle so I made do with Mr. Donkey. What’s a pooch to do, right? Yawns… in fact I need to get caught up on some more sleep. So with that in mind, I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Hope you enjoy it my friends.
Barks! Hello sweet friends. Welcome to another week of Paw Time with Houdini.l Don’t you just dig this picture of me? See that white stuff around my mouth? Nah, I’m not foaming white stuff from Day of the Dead. Barks with puppy laughter. That’s doggie ice cream. Mom was feeding me ice cream before bed. She’s cool like that. And those are my new jammies. She was telling daddy I already had poo on my jammies. Do you see it? HA! I love these jammies. Hope you’ve had a great week. Things are getting back to normal here… whatever normal is. Now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Enjoy friends and get some extra cuddles this weekend.
Greetings my sweet friends!! I’m so glad to say that things seem to be getting back to the norm here at the Hotel Thompson. Don’t get me wrong. I love spending time with Nana. However, I was so glad to see mom/dad last weekend – barks with puppy excitement. I thought they ran away from me never to come back again. It was the longest I have ever been away from them. But they came back in such great moods and they left something some thousands of miles in the air above us. What was it? Stress. Mom/dad said they had the best times of their lives. I’m glad. That means I get more sweet moments with them here. And don’t worry. They will be sharing their adventures with you shortly. But for now, I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Trust me. That man nevers stops!
Hello sweet friends. I’m at Nana’s house still – yay!! I’m having a blast and playing with my toys and Dingo. Of course mom/dad are still living it large having a blast of their own. So I gotta keep this short. So hopefully things will be back to somewhat normal next week. But for now, I leave you with Jokes with Daddy – enjoy sweet friends ❤
Hello sweet friends! Have I told you that I’m going to Nana’s today? I’m having a blast with Nana – me and my Nana and her poochie Dingo. I’m running and playing and eating and sleeping – all without mom/dad. Mom/Dad who is what I asked Nana this morning – barks with puppy laughter. So I gotta keep this short this morning. But don’t worry, I’ll leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Enjoy sweet friends ❤
Howdy folks – it’s Sheriff Houdini here. Don’t you love the sound of that? Sheriff Houdini. Barks with puppy laughter. I’m wearing my cowboy hat that Bashful brought back from Wyoming. I mean it’s a toy but I think I need to wear it. You know just to show how official I am around these parts. And to let Hemi know who really rules the Hotel Thompson. I think that would be fascinating. I wonder how long I can charge him for assault on me and Bacon.. you know for the times he slaps us in the fanny. Could be what 10-20 solitary confinement in his room? Now that sounds good to me.
And you are probably wondering what is happening around these parts at the Hotel Thompson. Just what was/is this great surprise for September that we are all keeping. Am I right? Well, there is a great surprise and by the end of next week, that surprise will be revealed. Mom/dad have a lot of work to get done this weekend. I don’t think I’ll be seeing a lot of them… well except for tomorrow. I have an appointment at the spa. They said I look like a street dog. As if?! I
Now my friends I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. I hope you enjoy!
Welcome my friends to SPOTLIGHT THURSDAY. This is the time that I will introduce you to one of my fellow anipals so you can get to know them better. Some of them, you may already know. We hope that you enjoy this series!
What were your first thoughts when you met your new parents? I was only 17 months old when I came to live with my new parents, my two new human small people and another dog (my aunt) called Ruby – so I was a bit nervous at first and shy.
What was the defining moment when you knew you were in your forever home? Well, I had never been allowed upstairs before so my mum and Ruby taught me how to go upstairs so that I could sleep on the humans’ bed. I knew then that I had found a slice of heaven!
What has been your biggest “Oh no, now I’ve done it” moment so far in your home? I’m quite a good boy, but had a few toilet accidents inside the house when I was younger. Also, I’ve eaten sandwiches off plates and my mum was very angry with me, so I don’t do it anymore. My humans always let me lie on them and they stroke me so I know how much they love me anyway.
Who do you have wrapped around your paws more – mom or dad – and why? Well, Mum works at home a lot so I spend a lot more time with her and she takes me and Ruby for lovely, long walks where I can run off the leash, so I think she is closest to me. If I look sad and bat my eyelids, then she will forgive me… 😉
What’s the biggest misconception that humans think about you? Humans think I’m very goofy – but that’s just the outside. I’m actually a very gentle and clever dog.
♥
Hope you enjoyed meeting my friend – check back next week for another Spotlight edition!
Barks – hey my friends. Hope you have had an awesome week. We got big plans this weekend. Well, mom/dad don’t but I do. I’m off to the spa. Last weekend, mom/dad went to the spa. This week it’s me and I can not wait! My spa has moved a couple of towns over so it’s a new place for me to sniff out. AND, of course I love the lady that cuts me – she gives me the bestest massage when she shampoos me. Barks with terrier excitement. So I’m thinking tomorrow I need to wear my button up summer shirt. What do you think? It’s kind of a fun let’s play kind of design.
❤
Whatever trouble you get into, have fun my friends. Now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy.
