What week would be complete without a birthday cake picture? Mom/dad went to a local italian restaurant last week for mom’s birthday. This is a piece of wonderful cake mom got at the end of her meal. It’s called the Black Tie Mousse Cake. It has rich layers of chocolate cake, chocolate cheesecake and a creamy melt in your mouth mousse. Did mom enjoy it. YES. It was just enjoy to enjoy and share with daddy.

ooooh chocolate and mousse and cheese… and all that stuff what melts on our tongue like a snow flake… heeaven… nearly… I only wish all that tasty cakes had the same calories as a snow flake LOL

We all agree about the calorie part here at the Hotel Thompson. Mom caved last week on her birthday and had this delicacy. She even shared with Nana and daddy. So not near as many calories, right? So delicious! XOXO – Bacon

I like Olive Garden a lot, but Maggiano is way more authentic, IMHO. (And I come from Italian country up in PA)
