May 20th is a wonderful glorious day. It is National Pick Strawberries Day – what a great
day to enjoy. I know that this is a day that the pig Bacon can wrap those jowls around. He absolutely LOVES strawberries and that’s a huge understatement.
Today, start a new tradition. Go find a strawberry field and pick your own strawberries. Start a family tradition. I think Bacon’s mom is actually going to go and pick the little fellow a few of his own today. I wonder if they will let Bacon come and pick his own? Chitter Chatter – that would be a picture for the blog! Enjoy my friends!

oh I hope bacon is on board for the great strawberry pawty!… we can not celebrate this event, they want 3.99 for a small box of strawberries, that’s outrageous… we will celebrate with nectarines, they were on offer ,O)))

Yum, love strawberries 🍓 and cream with sugar sprinkles. 😎 We have a small patch, we just need to keep the birds off them. How do they do that in a field?

I know!! Mommy says that my paw-paw had a strawberry field once and that I would have been in pig heaven with it. At this time of the year, mom buys them from an orchard and I get a giant one every night as a bedtime snack. XOXO – Bacon

Mine aren’t ready yet….I’ve been trying to get rid of them for years, giving away dozens! I think eating Strawberry Jam that came in a tin (when I was a kid) turned me off of them! ya want some?? I’d rather eat raspberry’s and our ever abundant weed..the Blackberry! 🙂
