Hey sweet friends! How did you do this past week? I was able to walk more thanks to having a gazillion errands to do during the week. By the time the week was over, I had done 6.63 miles. Not bad and I’ll take it. My hip is still bothering me but not as much so that’s a lot better. I’m still having to try to get back into the swing of things of making better food choices. That’s the most difficult thing at this moment. Well, that and this awful heat. Tell me it will be over soon please. I am so not the kind that will complain about the cold. I can take the cold. The heat no.

I didn’t get much exercise in the last couple weeks, and my back feels it. So more walking this week and I’m starting my month of Paleo. No processed carbs.

The heat is awful and has kept us INDOORS for the most part so not walking as much as we should……….our problem is we don’t adjust our food intake for the amount of activity we’re getting…………therein lies the problem!

Mama missed 18 miles of walking this week because she went out o’ town. Whilst away, she ate what she wanted to. Heck, I don’t care. I’m back from “Summer Camp”, and back home with Mama. That’s what matters to me!

It is a daily challenge for sure my friend. And trust me, there are plenty of days I don’t feel like doing it. Then I look at Bacon or Houdini and they are like, “Let’s walk mom”. Of course with Houdini, I’m going end up carrying him back home – LOL. ❤ June
