Today, September 5th is Cheese Pizza Day – YAY! That’s what this squirrel is talking about. Who doesn’t like pizza – especially cheese pizza? Do you remember the movie Home Alone? What was
Kevin’s favorite pizza? CHEESE PIZZA. The basics of a wonderful pizza with all of that gooey cheesy awesomeness! Pizza has to be one of the most popular dinner meals there is – it’s quick and easy. Whether you make it yourself from scratch, with a little help from the store in a crust or delivery and/or pick up. It can be thick crust, deep dish or thin crust. What do you like? At the Hotel Thompson, they prefer stuffed crust – with extra cheese. Licks lips and gets plate ready to go see if I can ‘borrow’ a slice or two for my family 🙂 chitter-chatter – It’s what I do as a squirrel.
So tonight to celebrate – What do you want on your pizza?

From time to time I even like my pizza vegetarian. Spinach or brokkoli, sweet corn, tomatoes, bell pepper – yumm.

My favourite pizza place is Farrelli’s Pizza in Tacoma, WA – they do it up fresh daily, with fresh ingredients to boot! They have a great bar area with plenty of TVs to watch your favourite sports teams while you wait for take-out, too.
The toppings I always get are: Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, black olives, pineapple, whole roasted garlic, spinach, mushrooms, and extra cheese…I want one now, but it would be a 2-hour drive just to get there!

Oh licks piggy lips – well without the bacon for obvious reasons. Our favorite place has a white pie – all mozzarella cheese and garlic. I love it! XOXO – Bacon
