Well my friends – How did you do this past week? I started completely over here at the Hotel Thompson and feel good this week – two pounds down. Two pounds gone from the rear end – hopefully forever. Of course, there was still some Christmas candies in the house from Christmas – thank goodness they are gone now. I didn’t do too much splurging for New Years – just had the traditional black eyes peas and greens here so that wasn’t too bad. No alcohol.

Mummy says she is too scared to get on the scales after Christmas. She can still ge into her size 11 jeans but they might be feeling a little too tight.

I know the feeling! Well, not size 11 but I know the feeling of my pants being too tight. LOL. It’s time to settle down now and get some results in 2016. Hugs. June

Well my newyears resolution is to walk the dogs every day no excuses and I plan to keep doing that! Good for them and good for me.

My Mom hasn’t popped on the scales yet either but we know it won’t be good news. WAY TOO MANY yummy things around this year and of course everyone knows she loves chocolate so she got a LOT of that! Anyway, she’ll whack away at the scales slowly but surely…….these days she does everything slowly!

Starting over is a great feeling. Mom is a fan of the cheat day once a week. Save that one thing that you crave and HAVE IT, but just a little and just once a week. #gottalivealittle

Amen to that! That’s my guilty splurge as well – popcorn. I bought an air popper and do it that way at home now. I love me some munchies! June

Concatulations! The human went to a church potluck yesterday and aye all kids of stuff she doesn’t normally eat anymore – (pasta, POTATOES soup – bread)/ but she stayed away from the fried chicken and brownies!!!😹

Two pounds gone….great. My weight has been going up and its not coming down yet. We still have Christmas goodies and I don’t want to give it up….I need help!

LOL! I can’t keep goodies in my house. If I do, I will eat them – simple as that. It’s so hard not to go for what you know and eat what you want. 😦 June

Good for you! I didn’t do very well last week. Eating was so-so, but activity level was WAY down. We watched a movie marathon New Year’s Day. I have a writing assignment this week–more seat time. Tomorrow will be Day One for me. Here’s to hope!

Mom put on one pound. She said she will lose it before next Saturday, when she weighs again. She and Dad are still on their healthy living plan…it was just those desserts while they were up North with family…
