It’s hard to believe that it’s been 13 years but we will never forget.
No one will ever be the same after this date.
Life changed. Families changed. Times changed.
Let us not just think of the United States on this date. Of the 2,977 victims that lost their lives on this sad day, 373 of them were foreign nationals that worked at the World Trade Center in different offices.
This date touched the world. The day might have darkened 09/11 but not destroyed us. We as in the world came out stronger. We as in the world came out more united. We as in the world came out.
In memory of all of the victims that lost their lives on this sad day, you will never be forgotten. You live on in our lives and always will.
Stay strong my friends. Stay united!

It really does the same here too my friend. In a lot of ways, it is still raw and seems like it happened yesterday. – June

How sad it is too – that today so many people will almost be holding their breath hoping and praying that nothing else happens today. It is a day I will certainly remember – I came to the USA on Sept 10th the very day before it happened. We were in Detroit Sept 11 and in what seemed like minutes the whole city was like a ghost town.

Oh how very frightening! I can still remember the exact place I was when it happened and just holding my breath hoping that it wasn’t true. Shakes head and sheds a tear. After all these years, it’s still heartbreaking. – June

Yes, 9/11/01 had quite the impact on us. A very sad day indeed. Actually unbelievable to this day. I want to go to NYC and see how they have honoured the ones that perished that day….I would be very upset seeing this though as I am now. Then to find out some terrorists used Canada as a gateway to the States just blew me away and made me ashamed. The US pulled through and held their head high….one has got to respect this attitude and we do.

Jean
