On September 11, 2001, horrible terrorist actions took place in the United States. Hijackers took over American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 crashing the planes into the North and SouthTowers of the World Trade Center in New York City.
Other hijackers took over American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
Other hijackers attempted to pilot a fourth hijacked jet, United Airlines Flight 93, to crash into the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. However, passengers attempted to take control of the flight and crashed in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Nearly 3,000 people died in these attacks. Each year in the United States, we now refer to September 11 as Patriot Day, or 9/11. This is to honor those who lost their lives in the senseless terrorist act. We will never forget and we will always remember.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years but we will never forget.
No one will ever be the same after this date.
Life changed. Families changed. Times changed.
Let us not just think of the United States on this date. Of the 2,977 victims that lost their lives on this sad day, 373 of them were foreign nationals that worked at the World Trade Center in different offices.
This date touched the world. The day might have darkened 09/11 but not destroyed us. We as in the world came out stronger. We as in the world came out more united. We as in the world came out.
In memory of all of the victims that lost their lives on this sad day, you will never be forgotten. You live on in our lives and always will.
Stay strong my friends. Stay united!
