Hello sweet friends. How did you do last week in your Journey of Life? I am still battling my flare up but it does seem to be getting better. I even tried to walk a bit more than last week which was awesome – slow but awesome. I ended last week with 6.68 miles. It helped that one day I went to our local mall and walked the entire downstairs and upstairs looking for new nose rings. I was lucky and found some that I really liked. But you know, they just don’t make a huge variety of them. And yes, I got up the nerve Friday night and actually changed my nose ring out for the first time. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Yay for that! And this week food wise is looking good. I have our meal plans worked out which should help me getting home from work at night.

It’s gotten me through some tough times although some days I need to put it on a post-it note and tape it to my forehead. 😉

Walking in the mall is so smart…getting your mile(s) in and staying cool. Now I can’t really walk anywhere in the afternoon till 5:30 or later, and even then, Mama will carry me to the shady place where we start. Today, we were done by 8am. Pawfect. Xxxxx Skyler

That is awesome to be done so early in the morning. It’s hard finding the time and doing it but it’s all about balance, right? June

I also walked around our shoping center. I bought new walking shoes which gave me extra bouncy feeling. Good tires on the car and good shoes on the feet. I am doing 20 partial sit up am and pm. Our coach says partial sit ups do more good than full! ❤

That is totally awesome! Every little bit counts in the long run. I even walked extra last night when I was running errands. I parked further out and walked more. Baby steps! June
