Journey with Friends

18 Jul

Welcome my friends to our weekly issue of Journey with Friends.  This is a time that we come together for support, for encouragement, for fellowship – all with one single goal in mind – to live better.  Welcome to our journey to share our goals and our accomplishments and our disappointments and frustrations.

Together we can do this!

Hello friends.  How did you do last week?  Me?  It looks like I’m still playing catch up from playing catch up.  I did better with my eating and I walked.  Now the downside is I had a giant flare up with my hip last week.  That put me down and I couldn’t do as much as I wanted.  But in the end, I did finish with 4.73 miles for the week.  A little low but at least I moved, right?

So how was your week my friends?

Miles Walked Since 06/13/2016: 45.53 miles

Thank you sweets. It was a really tough week. The flare up put me down and somewhere I caught a summer cold. Those are the pits! But I just tried to keep walking… keep walking… June

It’s just the point of keeping on moving. It’s hard at times and I have my days for sure. But in the end, we gotta keep going. Thanks bunches! June

I hope your hip is feeling better. Good job walking in spite of hip pain and a summer cold! I didn’t get much exercise in last week but I started off this week with a short bike ride. Now my tailbone hurts. :/ This getting old thing is hard!
