Bashful is Wanted?!

Information has been received over the wire reports this morning that the juvenile rolling stone has been caught in another act of random mischief. This time, the act took place in a local Target department store in the south. The juvenile rolling stone was caught on store security riding a tan in color skateboard down the sporting goods aisle. In one part of the video, you can actually see where the skateboard goes around a human wearing orange clogs and then runs into a display shaking his little pebble head from the impact.

One witness who wishes to remain anonymous, we’ll call him Mr. Smith, stated the juvenile rolling stone was acting like “he didn’t have a care in the world“. Mr. Smith stated he told him at one time to put the skateboard away so that he would not get hurt. The juvenile rolling stone stuck his tongue out and told the employee, “Make me”, before he took down another aisle riding the board. Mr. Smith followed him and inquired where his parents were. The juvenile rolling stone replied, “Papa was a rolling stone” before laughing hilariously.

This goes to show that the juvenile rolling stone is becoming more mischievous.

Last month, authorities reported that the juvenile rolling stone created havoc by riding a blue skateboard carelessly throughout the Walmart department store. He was observed skateboarding down aisles of the store in the toy department in between humans feet. He was even overheard shouting at the Walmart workers, “Whee, whee, whee!” and “Catch me if you can”.

Authorities have released a video from the security camera at Target of the juvenile rolling stone perpetrator showing his disturbance. Authorities are asking you not to approach the juvenile rolling stone in case he casts the first pebble. If you recognize this juvenile, please comment in the postings. All postings will be confidential.

Mom’s Christmas Picks

Hello friends.  It’s not too late to get some last minute Christmas ideas on your list.  Today, I’m going to share some of my Christmas picks.  These are things that I have come across that I find fascinating and wonderful.  If you have found something this year, please also share.  The shopping days are ticking down!  ❤

My first pick – knitted gloves.  They have these types of gloves in all kinds of different sizes and materials.  They have them longer, shorter, with fingers and without fingers.  They look fashionable yet let me tell you a little secret.  If you have someone you know that has arthritis – they need these types of gloves.  I’ve been having a lot of joint pain and my wrists are really bad.  These gloves give my wrists just a little bit of warmth and comfort.  I wear these with long or short sleeved shirts – in and around the house.  Say what you want to the fashionistas in the world – these gloves rock.  They are on the top of my list.

And a blessing – you can find these on Amazon at all kinds of different prices – from less than $2.00 to the ones on the higher end of $20.00 – check them out 🙂

Next up –  make up.  What girl doesn’t love a good quality make up?  And yes, I’m confident in myself to show you this fabulous company I have found.  I saw an infomercial a while back on IT Cosmetics.  I thought it looked interesting and finally broke down and got some make up from them.  It came in the mail so quickly and in such a cute little package.  I tried it and let me tell you something – I’m never.going.back!  This is the best make up that I have tried in my entire life.  This coming from a girl that use to only using Clinique products.  Now I will tell you that IT Cosmetics are not cheap but they are amazing!  I’m showing you my before and after pictures so you can see how beautiful the product works.

I am using Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ (medium).  This is your base and goes on like a cream.  It does not feel like a foundation at all and look at all of the imperfections in my face that it covers – totally awesome.  And a little bit goes a long ways.  I then followed this with Bye Bye Pores.  This is a powder that really does make your pores disappear and it is so silky.  Then I added my regular eye and lip make up.  Can you see the difference?  Like I said it is costly, these two products I ordered set me back around $60 BUT again a little goes a long way. AND they do not test their products on animals – isn’t that another great plus?!

My final pick – Pony Up Daddy.  This is hilarious and I absolutely fell in love with this.  At first, I really thought it was a joke.  But it’s no joke!  How many times have your children or grandchildren wanted to play horsey on your back while you went around the house on all fours?  Here you go – a ‘saddle’ that velcros around the horses waist.  The child then climbs aboard for the ride of their life.  Where has this been all of our lives?  I can just see my hub unit using one of these with the kids in our lives – what a blast!  Price range – around $25.00 – I’ve seen them on Amazon and at Wal-Mart.

So friends – what have you found for this Christmas season?  Please share!

Shopping with Mom/Dad

Sometimes I wonder if my humans fell on their heads repeatedly as small children.  Really I do.  You see a couple of weekends ago during mom’s marathon shopping spree, they took pictures and a video of something that I just found this past weekend.  Mom always has the coolest pictures and such on her iPhone.  In fact there is no telling what you will find on that phone.  So there I was, reviewing her pictures and came across a video.  Oh My Piggy Heavens.  After watching it a half of dozen times – yes it’s that addictive, I had to ask mom about it.

Well, they were at Wally World (for most people that would be Walmart) – snorts.  They saw this item on a shelf and knowing my dad he just had to see what it was and how it worked.  They pushed a button and the next thing you know they are laughing like two hysterical kids in the toy department.  Mom said she almost peed on herself.  You know it’s good huh?

Of course when I saw it, I thought about twerking team captain Fozzie from down under.  Why do you ask.  Let me show you the video.  And please tell me – do your parents do anything crazy like this?  Snorts with piggy laughter.

And P.S. Please take note – that is a lady that walks by laughing at mom/dad with the twerking teddy.

It was a LONG weekend – I mean really LONG

Oh my friends.  Have you ever had one of those weekends where you did so very much that you finally just prayed for Monday to get here STAT because of being tired?  Can you relate?  Mom and dad had one of those weekends.  Mom was already feeling slightly under the weather with her flare up.  But Sunday night, she could barely walk.  But I’m getting ahead of myself.  So this is what those two humans of mine did.

Saturday – They got up for breakfast early and tried a new restaurant.  Yes mom took pictures that I will post soon.  They looked good too.  After breakfast, they had to go to Kaiser to pick up some prescriptions.  Then mom finally got her nails done – which was long needed.  Then they went to Petsmart.  Trust me, all of us anipals here at the Hotel Thompson wanted to go to Petsmart.  But mom/dad said we couldn’t go because they were running all errands this morning before coming home to crash… which mom did 🙂  So after Petsmart and doing what dad said was ‘buying them out’ – rolls piggy eyes, they went to Wally World – Walmart for those that know the place.  Daddy then got a haircut and afterwards, he and mom looked around for some things they needed.  So, you see mom/dad did a LOT of walking all over the place.  Which normally wouldn’t be bad but with mom’s current flare up situation, it wasn’t good.  They left the house this morning around 8AM and didn’t get back home until way after 2PM.  Then they had to unload the Jeep and put everything up.  That’s a lot of work.  With mommy not feeling too well lately, daddy wanted to go someone special for their date night tonight.  So they left the house again at 4PM to go to a restaurant that is about 35 miles away.. not just any restaurant though.  They have crab legs 🙂  Yum…. not that they brought me any back tonight – snorts.

Sunday – They got up for round 2 of shopping and getting errands done.  They got up and went to a local place for breakfast – Cracker Barrel.  Afterwards they had to go to a home improvement store named Lowes.  Mom had some stuff she needed to return and they had pick up light bulbs and air filters for the Hotel Thompson.  Of course, one things leads to another and the next thing they know they have a buggy full of stuff.  But some of the things they found my friends – Oh my piggy heavens.  I’ll share with you on another post on that – my parents are too hilarious!  After dropping off these items at the Hotel Thompson, mom and dad wanted to go to another Wally World location to see if they had something they wanted that the other store didn’t… so off they went again.  Not only did they find some things they were looking for but of course they found some more stuff.  Did I mention that mommy *hates* shopping?  She does.  She can’t stand it.  So she waits and makes lists and then tries to get everything at once.  Silly mom huh?

Afterwards, it was time to do the monthly shopping so off they went to Kroger.  Once there, they had to pick up some other medicines they had filled at their pharmacy.  Then the major shopping for the Hotel Thompson.  And did I mention that mom is a HUGE coupon shopper?  She tells us anipals that she has to be so she can’t keep us accustomed to the way we are living.  I don’t get it – do you?  Mommy keeps up with her grocery list on her iPhone – there is actually an ap for that – snorts.  So when we are out of something, she adds it to the list for the next trip.  She also keeps up with her coupons on her iPhone.  Mom says the one thing about shopping with coupons is organization and that it takes time.  So they were at the grocery store for over two hours!  Daddy told mommy at one time that just because they have room in the Jeep now doesn’t mean she had to fill him to the rim in this one trip – snorts – silly daddy.  But then daddy also said that thank goodness they had Casper the new Jeep because everything they got would NOT have fit into Albert the Smart car.  See all of the stuff in the back of Casper.  You want to take a gander of the cost?  Now mom/dad grocery shop majorly every 2-3 months.  They will go every other week just to get milk and bread.  The total cost of this shopping spree came out to be $178.00 – she then handed the cashier all of her coupons and told him to ‘make it rain savings’.  Snorts – that’s my mommy.  After mom’s coupons and such, it came down to a final price of $127.00 – mom said even the cashier was shocked and amazed at that.  All of this for two somewhat adults, one pooch, two purr things and of course me who daddy says eats like a small child – snorts.

Then they came home to unload everything.  Now mom has a great conclusion to this.  She says, you shop all over the store and put things in your buggy.  Then you have to unload everything at the register to be rung up.  Then you have to load everything in your car to take home.  Then you get home and have to take everything into the house and THEN put everything up.  What a crap play huh?  But daddy knew that mommy wasn’t feeling to good so he parked her in the kitchen and he brought everything into the house for her… aaww – that was sweet.  Mom put everything up and crashed on the couch afterwards.

There she was medicated trying to get some rest while waiting for my Auntie Tina and cousins Savannah and Maverick to make it home.  See they are visiting for a couple of days and was due to arrive at Nanas Sunday night.  Mom finally got the call and her and dad then went to pick them all up for dinner.  They went to a great pizza place and talked, laughed and got caught up.  Afterwards, Auntie Tina and my cousins came to the Hotel Thompson to visit all of us anipals.  That was great fun!  We are all older now and loved the extra attention.  And a certain piggy may or may not have done some cute things for that extra attention – just sayin’ .  When they were done visiting, mom took them and Houdini up to Nana’s for a short visit.  She was only there for a little over 30 minutes and then came home.  After doing the medicines, for the week, she crashed pretty hard.  Who cards that it was only 7PM, right?

So you see, we are all kind of excited that this past weekend is done.  Completed.  Over.  Finished.  All but one little itsy bitsy thing.  What you ask?  Snorts – I’m glad you asked.  Tonight mom/dad are taking Houdini to a new groomer.  This should be fun.  Their appointment is at 6PM, right after mom’s work.  Houdini doesn’t know yet.  I’ll keep you posted on the results my friends.  And one little question, is it the weekend yet?  Snorts

Mission Accomplished

Do you remember last week when I had a BOLO (be on the look out) and an APB (all points bulletin) out for Twinkies Chocodiles?  You can read about it here if you don’t remember.  I told you that my mom if not anything is very pig-headed (snorts) when it comes to things that she wants.  Now you know where I get my stubbornness from – I don’t fall too far from the tree.  This weekend, she was determined to find these little treasures somewhere within a fifty mile radius of the Hotel Thompson.

Insert Mission Impossible music now.  Nana called my mom on Friday at her worky place.  Mommy told her of these delectable little treasures and gave Nana a mission of looking for them at store she was going to that day.  Nana  went to the store and even got the store manager involved to no avail.  Bummer.

Then mom/dad went grocery shopping at another chain store Saturday morning.  Again, nothing.  Bummer.  Now, it was getting to mommy.  She is not a quitter – especially with chocolate on the table.  Mom called Nana and they were going to meet up for lunch on Sunday to come up with another plan.

Sunday, mom/dad took Nana out to lunch.  Lunch was great but the thing still dancing in mom and Nana’s heads were these chocolate Twinkies – oh yummy!  So after dinner, a trip was planned to Wally World.  It was like humans gone wild when they entered the doors of old Wally World.  Fist bumps commenced and then it was ready, set and GO off they went in their separate ways to find the elusive Chocodile who some called Bigfoot – often talked about but never seen.

That’s when mom saw it out of the corner of her eye.  A blue stand filled with what you might ask – Chocodiles – THUD.  I think mom actually dropped to her knees in front of the display and thanked the heavens above.  She then called daddy who then called Nana and they all met in front of the alter of chocolate covered Twinkies.  You would have thought they had never seen chocolate before.

20140727-140306-50586000.jpg

I can’t tell you how many boxes mom and Nana bought.  I *can* tell you that they freeze well – snorts.  And I can tell you that mom had one last night.  As she was moaning in satisfaction, I picked up a few choice words from her like the following, “Spongy cake goodness with a white cream in the middle surrounded by a chocolate heaven”.  Okay, after that I kind of left the room quietly so mom could have a moment.  I’m guessing that they are mom approved.

Juvenile rolling stone has struck again!

Information has been received over the afternoon wire reports that the juvenile rolling stone has yet been caught again in another act of mischief.  This time, the act took place in a local Toys R Us department store in McDonough, Georgia.  Unlike the other two times, the juvenile rolling store was caught in a ‘toy’ buggy rolling down a store aisle singing Joan Jett’s famous song I Love Rock N Roll

Authorities believe that this is the same juvenile rolling stone that was caught in May at a local Wal-mart store and then again in June at a local Target store.  In both of these instances, the juvenile rolling stone was video taped riding a skateboard unlike the current sighting.  When authorities were questioned as to thy they think it is the same juvenile stone and why, they replied, “It’s all in his itty bitty shaky eyes.  He has the look of a rock gone bad.”

Authorities are also advising the public not to try and apprehend this juvenile delinquent rock by themselves but to please call your local police station.  If you have any information on this juvenile rolling stone, please leave a comment here.

On the Road with Bashful!

It’s adventure time again!  Have you missed me and my adventures?  I’ve been doing some field work so I’ve been a little out of touch with my friends here.  Also, someone put a nasty video out there of a juvenile rolling stone causing some havoc in the store and would you believe some people thought it was little ole innocent me?  In my best Urkel voice, “Would I do that?”

With all of that behind me, today I bring you the first part of my field trip to the department store, Target.  It was great!  There’s lots of similarities between Target and Wally World and then on the other pebble there’s lot of differences.  Between the two, I can’t pick which one I liked better.

20130531-234730.jpg

One of the good things about Target is that they have snacks.  Good snacks too.  Mom/dad said they had to get me a snack so I wouldn’t stroll off again and eat strawberry pie.  They bought me a slushy and popcorn.  Oh the joys for this little rolling stone!  We all snacked on popcorn and went around the store looking at some of the neatest things.

 20130531-234610.jpg

We started off in the outdoors department.   They had tents, patio furniture, chairs and other outdoor kinds of things.  I saw this rock and fell slightly in love with it.  I think it kind of liked me to because every time I got close to it, it lit up with this bright light.  I think it was flirting with me.  I might have kind of flirted back a little by making googly eyes to it.  When mom/dad wasn’t looking, I passed it my phone number.  I do hope she calls!

20130531-234556.jpg

We then went to the shoe department to look around because you know mom always *needs* a new pair of shoes.  I think she has more shoes than Tylenol has pills by now – rolls rock eyes.

While we were there, dad found me a pair of shoes to match his.  Aren’t they the cutest?  And they fit me perfect.  They are kind of cool.  The best part is you don’t have to wear socks with them.  And that’s a good thing because my feet are awfully short and wearing socks looks ridiculous on me.

20130531-234546.jpg

And the best part was this food tray.  I about fell off the tray I was laughing so hard.  I didn’t forget about you Bacon – as you can see Pops – Bacon is my favorite flavor.  RLOL (Rock laughing out loud).  I wanted to buy this tray but mommy said no.  I thought it was the coolest tray ever though.  Don’t you?

Well, that’s it for the first part of my Target field trip.  I hope you had a good time with me.  I’ll post the second part of my trip soon.  Every one have a great weekend!

On the Road with Bashful!

Bashful – the rolling stone!

20130325-100220.jpg

Hello my friends!  Today’s posting will conclude my fun adventure that I had at Wally World, otherwise known as Wal-Mart.  I hope I have expressed how much fun it was!  I do hope that you have had a good laugh at my field trip and my experiences.  But don’t worry, although my adventure with Wally World… AKA Fun Land USA… is over, my field trips are not done.  I am going out more to explore and will post about those trips soon.

Today, we concentrate on education.  I really tried hard to broaden my knowledge while at Fun Land USA.

20130507-222458.jpg

I started first in the book section.  Those Dr Seus books are wonderful!  Did you know that daddy can almost recite the entire book of Green Eggs and Ham by heart?  He loves that one just about as much as I do.  You can see me in this picture next to the books reading.  I stayed there for as long as mom/dad would let me.  They were looking at their books and I was looking at my age appropriate books.  It was all good.

20130507-222510.jpg

Then we moved on to exciting and wondrous things… the electronic department!  I was trying so very hard to get mom/dad to buy me my very own iPad.  They said I was too young and had to share with Bacon still.  Stomps pebbles – but I wanna my own iPad.  Darn it all.  I love playing on Bacon’s.  It’s a lot easier to type, if you know what I mean.  Maybe one day when I become a policerock and make my own money, I can get one.

20130507-222526.jpg

With all of this shopping, I got hungry.  I might have strayed off by myself.  Mom/dad got scared because they couldn’t find me.  They said next time, I have to wear my leash – darn shucks.

I’m not sure why they were so scared, they did eventually find me.  I was in the frozen food section licking the strawberry pie box.  Tasty – 🙂  Now I know why Bacon loves strawberries.  Of course, I tasted it so mom/dad had to buy the pie.  They weren’t fussing too much cause they said they were hungry too.  It was delicious!

Well, that’s it for today’s field trip.  I hope you enjoyed it my friends!

Toodles – Bashful
