Happy Birthday Bashful!!

 

 OMP (oh my pig!)  Can you believe that it’s been FOUR years since Bashful came to live with me here at the Hotel Thompson?  This is him all snuggled in transport the first time that I saw him – aaww.  Wasn’t he all cute and innocent in his straw bed? 

And to think of all of the places he  has been in the world?  He’s going to need extra pages in his passport book soon ❤

So, today, let’s all wish our little international rolling stone a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Oh dear piggy heavens – why?  Can you explain this to me why?  Why does some guy think it’s funny to dress up like a clown and walk the streets Chesterfield, United Kingdom in the middle of the night?  Do you understand when I say this is what nightmares are made out of.. do you agree?  Personally, if I went outside and saw this at 3AM, I would wake up my fellow neighbors from snorting and squealing in fright.  

So my friends in the United Kingdom, lock your doors at night and don’t look out your windows.  You may see this idiot psycho clown walking down your street.  Shivers to mergatroid!

 

Guess Who Came Home?!

 Jumping all around and squealing.  Guess who came home yesterday. Go ahead – guess.  Can you guess?  Do you know?  Do you want a hint?  Go ahead guess.  BASHFUL my international rolling stone.  He’s been spending time with my buddy Speedy in the United Kingdom the past couple of months.  He has told all of us some awesome stories of adventures he had with Speedy.  They danced and boogied to the radio.  Played in the garden together.  Met some ponies and some girls ❤  And of course some things that happened in the United Kingdom – stays in the United Kingdom – snorts.

The mailman delivered a box to the steps of the Hotel Thompson and once we opened it, we found a booty of goodies.  Bashful dressed like a pirate.  Pirate coins, notebooks and a sleeping bag!  Can you believe the goodies?!

And you know what?  Bashful came home with a friend – cheers, screams and snorts.  May we present to you Speedy Rock to the left.  Awesome – spectacular – fun – amazing.  Look at the resemblance to Speedy – all the way to the ears to the bushy tail.  OMP (oh my pig!)  We were snorting with delight here.

And the gals – Princess Coralena, Virginia, Rockelle and Koishi were falling all over him and his accent… or was it his eye patch?  I think they are all in ❤ and hey – what’s there not to be in love with, right?

Thanks Speedy for showing my tyke a most excellent adventure.  And I guess that brings up the next question.  Just where in the world will Bashful show up next?  And to those that have signed up on the list to host Bashful, don’t give up.  We are slowly working down the list.  It might take a while, but it will get to you.

 

 

Bashful’s Farewell Party

What Has Bashful Been Doing Lately?

Bashful is still visiting my buddy Speedy in the United Kingdom.  He is having the bestest of all time.  He’s been hanging out with Pebbles – Speedy’s pet rock friend.  They are awesome.  And Speedy is still walking his humans on their leash – snorts – that kills me!  I absolutely ❤ it!

Speedy took Bashful back to the Cadover Bridge.  It is so beautiful there!  You gotta check out their story and see the gorgeous pictures.  And while you are there, check out Speedy walking his humans – 🙂

7 Weeks of Weird

Today my new friend here is highlighting 7 weeks of weird in “Weirdest things you collect”.

This is a really easy week.  It really is.  I think most of my friends here know that I collect a really weird item.  What?  You don’t know?  Sure you do.  I collect pet rocks. 🙂   You think that’s weird enough?

You know that it all started with my first pet rock Bashful.  He was a gift.  He’s my little international rolling stone and travels around the world visiting my friends and having fun. He looks so innocent and has an innocent name but don’t let that fool you.  He’s quite the ladies rock – snorts.  Every time he goes somewhere, he always brings home a friend.

His friends include Princess Coralena from Hawaii, Manny from France, Rockelle from Australia, Virginia from Virginia,  Benedict Cumberock from the United Kingdom and Koishi from Japan.

 

Bashful is a Rolling

My little rock Bashful is definitely a rolling stone gathering no moss.  He’s with my pal Speedy still and they are having a rocking good time – snorts.  Be sure to check out Speedy’s blog and see Bashful’s adventures and what new look Speedy is sporting.  It’s cute – for sure!

MIA Bashful!

Oh dear – Bashful went MIA and about gave Speedy and his mom a heart attack!  He was eventually found but OMP (oh my pig).  That little tyke of mine can be really mischievous when he wants to be – snorts.
