Paw Time with Houdini

Barks my friends!  Here’s to another week behind us and a great adventure of the weekend before us!  Last Saturday I went to the spa.  Daddy said that I was so good that I could get a new shirt.  And we all know that clothes are my things.  I love my clothes – I make these t-shirts.  Don’t you think?

Well there we were in the middle of our local pet store and we were going through the t-shirts.  Either I liked them or daddy didn’t and vice versa.  Then we came upon the *perfect* t-shirt.  We both barked – okay maybe dad grunted – and said that was the one.

And you know the answer is always pizza!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Have fun, run in the sun and try to get some lap time on your humans lap.  Now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy – have fun!

Paw Time with Houdini

Barks my friends – we made it to another Friday – YAY!

I have to say score for this little puppy.  Mom went shopping last weekend – we all know how this ends, right?  She told daddy that I needed some new clothes and that someone – looks innocent – was outgrowing some of their t-shirts.  What?!  A dog has to eat, right?  So this is one of my new t-shirts.  Don’t you love it?  Can you read it?  It says, “I flexed and then the sleeves fell off.”  For some reason, daddy thought this shirt was hilarious and I absolutely needed it.  So I guess you can say that daddy was the enabler for mom buying it.  Yep, that’s right.  Daddy was the cause – ha!

Well friends – I hope you get lots of snuggle time this weekend.  I leave you now with Jokes with Daddy –

Barks!  Hello my dear friends.  I’m glad to report that the Hotel Thompson is now back up and running – the hazmat team has left and all of the flu cooties are reportedly out and MIA hitting others in the unknown.  Mom and dad are in no way back to 100% but it’s good to say that at least us anipals know they aren’t secretly zombies trying to overtake us at night.  Barks – heck, they couldn’t even move like regular humans for a while.

But no worries.  Us anipals did the best we could in trying to take care of them.  Unfortunately one day, mom/dad kicked us out of their bedroom and we all had to fend for ourselves while they slept.  I think it did them good beimagecause when they awakened, they looked much more like the imagehumans we know – ha!

And for those that asked, here is my rocking new tie-dye t-shirt.  Isn’t it amazing?  It fits so wonderful!

Just call me:

Cosmic Whimsical Unicorn

What’s your hippie name?

Oh and of course we can’t leave this week without Jokes from Daddy.  Let’s give him his moment in the limelight – barks with puppy laughter.  Have a great weekend my friends.

We Really Got Snow – Really – No Joke

Okay – maybe a little joke.  You see mommy was at work yesterday.  One of her bosses came up to her and said, “Look, it’s getting rough outside, go ahead and leave”.  Now, it was only 15 minutes early (doh!) but mom packed up and went outside expecting the worse.

That’s when she had to look hard to find the “weather is getting worse” statement one of her bosses made.  Okay, there was some white stuff on the windows of the Jeep.  But who knows, that could have been a handful of salt – snorts with piggy laughter.

Mom just *had* to take a picture to show everyone in blogville that snow does happen here in the south.  Okay, not so much snow but it can happen.  What was even funnier is that mom posted this picture of the ‘great snow’ on her Facebook account and sent this picture to friends and family.  Everyone thought it was much more funnier that here it is winter time and mom is wearing a thin t-shirt than the great snow – 🙂 LOL.  What can I say, my mom is hot stuff and always wears t-shirts year round.  Funny huh?  Do you wear t-shirts year round too?  Are you a warm bodied person like my mom?

I also wanted to share this picture I found on the ‘cloud’ here at the Hotel Thompson that my mom/dad took over the weekend.  Shaking piggy head.  I tell you my friends.  Those two parents of mine can not be trusted to go out and about by themselves.

Daddy got held up at the Target store!  Look at that – the proof is in the picture.  Nice Mr. Storm Trooper kept saying, “Hans Solo”, and daddy thought he was talking about his hands being solo.  I told you – my dad is special – in the mind!

Just by looking at daddy and his attire, can you guess what football team he likes?  Is it obvious?

And I thought I would share a little something else I found on the ‘cloud’.  Apparently daddy was telling jokes in the car the other day too.  So let me present – “Jokes with Daddy”.  Let me just apologize in advance okay.  Snorts with piggy laughter.

Possible T-Shirts for this Oinker

Mom and dad went shopping this morning. They are trying to decide which shirts to buy me to wear around the house. Rolls piggy eyes – do I look like a dress up piggy? Okay – don’t answer that. Mom says it would be a hoot and she has her favorite and of course dad has his favorite.

So, what’s a family to do? Leave it in your hands of course. They want my friends to decide. Really, you can say neither – snorts.

So, which is your favorite? I don’t think I have to tell you which one dad likes the most. Thanks my friends… I think.
