Liebster Award

Happy Piggy Dance – Happy Piggy Dance – Happy Piggy Dance

My brother Easy gave me this award last Monday (06/09/2014).  SQUEAL!  You know awards make a happy piggy dancing all over the place here at the Hotel Thompson.  I ❤ awards almost as much as I ❤ food!  They are so exciting to this little oinker.

Easy  gave me the Liebster Award – awesomesauce!  Here are the rules for the award:

1 – Thank the person who nominated you and link back and recognize their blog in your post.  Got it – Thank you – Thank you – Thank you my brother Easy.

2 – Answer the 10 questions posted by the blogger who nominated you.  See below – oohh squeal – how much fun!

3 – Nominate 10 bloggers for the award.  See below – Personally, I think *everyone* deserves this award!

4 – Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.  See below – so much fun!

Questions for me to Answer:

  1. What was the weirdest thingy you ever ate?  Kumquats.  They are DISGUSTING.  They are sweet and sour at the same time.  I ate one.  One of my ears went in one direction and the other ear went in the opposite direction.  Eeeww
  2. Have you ever slept in a Howl-tel?  Not yet.  But I might get to soon 🙂
  3. Do you have a favorite show in television you could watch forever and ever and ever and ever? I love Green Acres and Gilligan’s Island.  I am constantly watching these two shows on my television in my bedroom.
  4. Have you met a celebrity once in pawson (except yourself in a mirror of course?)  Snorts.  Mom and Dad took me to a fair one time.  We got to meet Spongebob.  It was a snort of a good time!
  5. Have you ever found a treasure or a thingy that was precious?  My adopted mother.  She’s my treasure that I plan on forever keeping ❤
  6. If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?  That mom and dad were rich and never had to work again.  That way they could stay at home with me all.of.the.time 🙂
  7. Would you rather live in the boondocks or in a big city?  Right now, we live in the burbs so I would have to say boondocks.  The big city is too congested.
  8. What you are doing when you can’t sleep at night?  Watching my television in my bedroom if I can get to the remote or blogging on my laptop.
  9. What’s your favorite song?  The first one that comes in your head now.  Itsy Bitsy Spider – mom sung it to me last night when she put me to bed.
  10. Have you seen a phenomenon once like a total lunar eclipse or a fata morgana with your own eyes?  Nope.  Although I did see a full moon when daddy was cleaning my bedroom yesterday – snorts

PLOL (Piggy Laughing out Loud)

Every once in a while while I’m surfing the net, I come across a funny that I just can’t pass up.  This is one of those times.  In the middle of the night (I couldn’t sleep), I saw this and started snorting and squealing.  I’m not sure why but I found it so hilarious.  It kind of reminds me of something that this little oinker might do.  You think?  Would you do this too?  Snorts.

Happy Saturday my friends!  Remember to get some snuggles and love along the way.

Bacon’s Towel

My friend Cocco had a contest for a free personalized bath towel in March and I won.  I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was – and still am!  I’ve been putting off on a post because mommy was hoping that I would actually use the towel – snorts.  She’s so funny.  The bath towel came to the Hotel Thompson, mommy unwrapped it and it was cool.  She tried slowly to introduce me to the towel.  You say why?  Well, shuffles hooves, new things they kind of scare me – just a little.

Bath time rolled around this weekend.  I blew bubbles… stomped my hooves… rolled around in the water… dived for carrots.  You know – all in all had a great time.  Time came for me to get out and mommy got my new towel.  Well that’s when mommy learned something new.  I can shake worse than a doggy when getting out of the tub.  Mommy should have just gotten in the tub with me because she got wetter than I did – snorts.  What can I say?  It’s what I do.

She grabbed my towel but to tell you the truth, it didn’t smell like mommy.  It’s a cool towel too.  I squealed like bloody murder so mommy couldn’t towel me off, hold a squealer and take a picture too.  Maybe next month… maybe.

But here is the adorable towel.  It’s black with green lettering.  The towel came from Trixie Wilkie with Adorable Banner Company.  It is a really cool towel and mommy highly recommends it.  From the picture, you can tell there are little pockets where you can hold on to a squealing pig… or dog … or cat… so they can’t get away.

Never fear – mom says she’s going to try again next month in trying to get a picture taken with me and the towel.

Thanks to Cocco and Trixie for the brilliant towel – love you guys!!

31 Days of Spook – Day 27

Hello friends – welcome to Day 27 of my 31 Days of Spook.  I’ve been holding out on you.  I have seen the scariest most horrifying video of my entire existence.  I saw this video and literally fell over passing out and bumping my little noggin.  I woke up and it was still playing.  I squealed LOUDLY and trust me a pig squealing is not something you want to hear in the confines of the Hotel Thompson.  I ran through the hallways trying to find mommy.  It was *THAT* terrifying.  Mommy held me and I was shaking so bad in her arms from being scared that I did something that I haven’t done since I was a piglet.  I peed on her.  It was that frightening.  She was very understanding knowing that I was scared little oinker.  She was trying to calm me down and talking so softly to me.  She asked me what happened and I couldn’t even talk our pig talk.  All I could do was take her to my bedroom and show her.  She saw the video on my laptop.  Let me tell you something, that mom of mine passed out like the leaning tower of Pisa.  She hit the floor with a good wallop.  So hard that daddy came running into my room.  And then he saw the video and fell on the floor beside mommy.  There all three of us were shocked at what we had seen.  The horror.  It was more terrifying than ghost stories.  More terrifying than Freddie or Jason.  Shivers.

Be WARNED – this is some scary video.  Here you go.

NOTE:  I was not harmed in the making of this video.  I am alive and well at the Hotel Thompson – snorts.
