Hello sweet friends! Have I told you that I’m going to Nana’s today? I’m having a blast with Nana – me and my Nana and her poochie Dingo. I’m running and playing and eating and sleeping – all without mom/dad. Mom/Dad who is what I asked Nana this morning – barks with puppy laughter. So I gotta keep this short this morning. But don’t worry, I’ll leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Enjoy sweet friends ❤
Howdy folks – it’s Sheriff Houdini here. Don’t you love the sound of that? Sheriff Houdini. Barks with puppy laughter. I’m wearing my cowboy hat that Bashful brought back from Wyoming. I mean it’s a toy but I think I need to wear it. You know just to show how official I am around these parts. And to let Hemi know who really rules the Hotel Thompson. I think that would be fascinating. I wonder how long I can charge him for assault on me and Bacon.. you know for the times he slaps us in the fanny. Could be what 10-20 solitary confinement in his room? Now that sounds good to me.
And you are probably wondering what is happening around these parts at the Hotel Thompson. Just what was/is this great surprise for September that we are all keeping. Am I right? Well, there is a great surprise and by the end of next week, that surprise will be revealed. Mom/dad have a lot of work to get done this weekend. I don’t think I’ll be seeing a lot of them… well except for tomorrow. I have an appointment at the spa. They said I look like a street dog. As if?! I
Now my friends I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. I hope you enjoy!
Barks – hey my friends. Hope you have had an awesome week. We got big plans this weekend. Well, mom/dad don’t but I do. I’m off to the spa. Last weekend, mom/dad went to the spa. This week it’s me and I can not wait! My spa has moved a couple of towns over so it’s a new place for me to sniff out. AND, of course I love the lady that cuts me – she gives me the bestest massage when she shampoos me. Barks with terrier excitement. So I’m thinking tomorrow I need to wear my button up summer shirt. What do you think? It’s kind of a fun let’s play kind of design.
❤
Whatever trouble you get into, have fun my friends. Now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy.
Barks! Hello sweet friends. Hope you have had a fantastic week. We all know my mom the shopper – barks with puppy laughter. Well today I am wearing one of her finds. She is always looking for new clothes for me. Cause you know a pup can *never* have too many shirts. Well, mom was shopping and found this shirt for me. This is a shirt from the Cesar Millan line. You know Cesar Millan – the dog behaviorist. This shirt is made really well and double stitched. I’m not sure what that means but mom got pretty excited over it and so did daddy. Then again, my humans are weird. On the bottom of the shirt (you can’t see it in the picture cause I’m sitting on it), it says Cesar Millan. Mom has priced these shirts before and they are a little costly. Well, she got this shirt on what she calls clearance for a sweet $5.00 – awesome huh?
Well my friends, hope you have a fantastic weekend. Now I leave you with a throwback with Jokes with Daddy. Hope you enjoy it!
Barks my friends – we made it to another Friday – YAY!
I have to say score for this little puppy. Mom went shopping last weekend – we all know how this ends, right? She told daddy that I needed some new clothes and that someone – looks innocent – was outgrowing some of their t-shirts. What?! A dog has to eat, right? So this is one of my new t-shirts. Don’t you love it? Can you read it? It says, “I flexed and then the sleeves fell off.” For some reason, daddy thought this shirt was hilarious and I absolutely needed it. So I guess you can say that daddy was the enabler for mom buying it. Yep, that’s right. Daddy was the cause – ha!
Well friends – I hope you get lots of snuggle time this weekend. I leave you now with Jokes with Daddy –
Barks! Hey my friends. Hope your week is going awesome. Last weekend, I spent some time at the Spa. Someone here at the Hotel Thompson told me how much fun it was to go in our magic backyard and roll in mud – I’m not mentioning names but we all know who oinks and snorts in these parts. Well, I did. And guess what. That mud sticks to your fur in places it doesn’t need to stick if you know what I mean. I didn’t find it fun at all. Mom let me out just for “a few minutes” she said and then came back to a mud caked Yorkshire Terror– her words not mine. She was taking me in that day anyway to the Spa. I just wanted to make sure they earned their money when they gave me my oatmeal bath. See, I was helping mom out, right?
I came back home later in the day and mom had bought me a new toy. OMD! That toy is the bomb. It’s my favorite this week for sure… well at least today. You roll it, squeak it and it lights up. OMD – I played with it until I wore myself out. I had mom take a video to share it with you my friends. I hope you enjoy it and Jokes with Dad. Have a great weekend and remember to roll in some mud ❤
Barks! Hello friends. I hope you have had a wonderful week. A lot of people ask us about our nightly routines here at the Hotel Thompson. I wanted to share one with you on how I go to bed every night. It usually starts on the sofa with my mommy with my favorite night time friend. This night time friend is special to me. My nana gave it to me and helps me have wonderful dreams at night. How do you ask? Well, I had mom take a video of me with it. Hope you enjoy!
And now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy – have a great weekend!
Some of you may remember that Houdini goes regularly to the spa. Several months ago when mom picked him up, he was nose to nose with a cute little poodle. Mom got a phone call early last week from the spa stating that one of their customers needed to talk to Houdini’s mom. The spa wouldn’t give them mom’s number – thank goodness – but offered to relay that message. Mom was curious as to what was going on but called the lady. Come to find out, it was the poodle’s mom. She wanted to meet mom for coffee this morning to talk about a play date with Pippy (the poodle) and Houdini. So mom/dad made arrangements to meet this morning at a local park.
Mom, dad and Houdini got to the park this morning. Then Pippy and her mom pulled up. As they were getting out of their car, Pippy’s mom had a box in her hands. When they got close enough to mom/dad, they could see the box was moving. Pippy’s mom put the box on the picnic table and mom/dad could see what was in it. OMP!! There was puppies in that box. Not just any puppies. They look liked small poodle mixed Yorkie puppies. What the cream cheese?! Pippy’s mom said they belonged to Houdini. No way! Mom said Houdini had been fixed and there was no way. Pippy’s mom said it had to be Houdini. Apparently Houdini and Pippy got a little romantic at the spa several months ago. No way in pig heavens!
Well we were all shocked. I mean who would have ever dreamed of this? There was four cute little puppies. Pippy’s mom wanted my mom/dad to split the litter and even offered to pay for the puppy DNA to prove that Houdini was the father. Of course dad was laughing and said that this needed to go on the Maury Povich show for sure – LOL. Mom gave him a look like this is *not* the time. So there you go. We have puppies here at the Hotel Thompson. Pictures will follow in a couple of hours once mom gets everyone settled.
OMD! You are not going to believe what I’m fixing to tell you my friends. I’m so excited. Really I am. See me all stretched out there on my ottoman? I’m watching television. Not just any show though. Mom couldn’t sleep one night – go figure – so she was surfing the channels on the television and came across something amazing. How amazing you ask?! Out of this world amazing. You see there is a channel specifically for us pooches. It’s called DogTV. Have you heard of it? OMD – it’s amazing! It’s specifically for dogs who are left alone during the day/night so it can help with separation anxieties. They have different shows – relaxation, stimulation, soothing music to help your dog sleep and all kinds of other videos. Now you are probably laughing and wondering does it work though?
Mom tried it on me the other night. I watched. I mean I really watched. The color of the videos are more towards dog vision and the music is so comforting. I actually fell asleep. It was awesome! You don’t believe me though, do you? Okay – I found a short video on You Tube so I can show you. Check it out – this is relaxation.
What did you think my friends? Wasn’t it soothing? I admit it. It actually put my dad to sleep. Barks and rolls with puppy laughter. But it works, right? Show it to your pooch and see what happens. Now, I leave you with Jokes with Dad. Hope you have a great weekend!! ❤
Barks! Hey sweet friends. How are you doing? I must tell you about my adventure over the weekend. It was most interesting for sure. Last Saturday mom went to go feed me my breakfast and guess what? I wouldn’t eat it. Nope. I looked at her and sat down on the floor. Mom knew right there and then something was wrong. Mom’s always know, right? She picked me up and I put my head on her shoulder just staring in her eyes. I was trying to use my doggy psychic powers and let her know what was wrong. Mom woke up daddy and told him to get dressed that we were going to the V.E.T. Now, mom doesn’t think I can spell but I knew what she was saying. And at that point, I didn’t care. Mom kept saying she and dad were going to make me all better and I believed them.
At the vet’s office, I was the first one back for the day. I got to see my regular doctor. Of course there was the alien probe and then the touchy feeling all over my body. The doctor even tried to feed me and I wouldn’t eat. Then he looked at mom/dad and said he knew exactly what was wrong. What was it you ask? I had a bad sinus infection in my throat. Who knew?! Of course it makes sense now. I got a shot in my rump for my sick feeling to my tummy and some allergy pills. Let me tell you friends, that shot did wonders. We were half way home and it was like my tummy flipped and I felt so much better already! I couldn’t help but give mom/dad kisses for making me better. And during this pollen season outside, guess who will be taking allergy pills – moi! I’ve had several now and I feel so good – no more sneezing for this pooch.
Now I leave you with a repeat on Jokes with Dad. We didn’t have time to get any new ones done this week. But never fear, I will corner dad down this weekend and got a bunch of new ones. Hope you have an awesome weekend friends.
