Go ahead, I know you sung those words in your head. Admit it. I’m okay with it. I won’t tell anyone whatsoever – snort.
Mom is *always* telling me that I have the cutest little derriere. I have to kind of agree to that. Although personally, I do believe my tail is slighly off centered… just a bit. Not that I spend too many long hours in my bedroom looking at my captains quarters in the mirror. I mean that would be weird, right? PLOL (Pig Laughing out Loud).
Now you want to see my behinney, don’t you. To see what I’m talking about.
Look at the picture and see what you think of my captains quarters.
My tail is slightly to the right a bit before it curves down. Do you see it? I mean as far as tails go, that is a striking tail. Very long, nice little white fur at the end that is braidable – not that I would know anything about that.
And trust me, when I’m happy I can make that tail go! It swings so fast back and forth, that mom tells me I’m going to take off flying. See, it’s true – pigs with enough thrust can fly!
Thoughts on my back side? Please share – this oinker needs a pick me up on his body image.
Happy October my spooky friends. Today was my first day of 31 Days of Spook. I think Winifred from Hocus Pocus said it best with the attached song, “I Put a Spell on You“. Evil snorts – that means you have to come back every day to see what kind of spooky things I have to post and share. Now everyone sing along with me and I’ll see you first thing tomorrow –
I put a spell on you and now you’re mine
You can’t stop the things I do, I ain’t lyin’
It’s been 300 years, right down to the day
Now the witch is back and there’s hell to pay
I put a spell on you and now you’re mine
Hello, Salem, my name’s Winifred, what’s yours?
I put a spell on you and now you’re gone
My whammy fell on you and it was strong
Your wretched little lives, have all been cursed
‘Cause of all the witches working, I’m the worst
I put a spell on you and now you’re mine
Watch out
If you don’t believe, you’d better get superstitious
Ask my sisters, ooh, she’s vicious
I put a spell on you, a wicked spell
I put a spell on you, sisters
Ah, say into pie, oppa mabey uppen die
Ah say into pie, oppa mabey uppen die
In kama koray, ah, ma
Hey, hi, say, bye, bye, bye bye

Oh friends – it’s that time of the year again. Fantasy in Lights happens not too far away from us at Calloway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. It’s really a must see for the Christmas season. Something about going out at night, riding the Jolly Trolley throughout the park, seeing all of the beautiful lights in awe. ❤ it – I mean heck what’s not to love right?
Fantasy in Lights at Calloway Gardens has been taking place for more than 20 years – it’s among the top 10 light shows in the world. Did you know that they have more than 8 million lights throughout the park this time of the year? All of that shiny holiday spirit – 🙂
So mom and dad go and got lucky this year on the Jolly Trolley. They got front row seats together. There they sat all bundled up in their coats, coffee cups in hand and anticipating a wonderful show like always. Trolley’s have a driver and a conductor that talks about what is coming up and what to expect. The night mom and dad went, their conductor was Samantha. She was nice wonderful lady.
There is one spot that the trolley rides a bit before the show begins. Samantha thought it would be a nice touch for all of us to sing Bing Crosby’s White Christmas. Major feat but they can do this! So they start, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas…” Well daddy goes bah-bah-bah-bah in his best Bing Crosby voice out of the blue. Mommy says it was like a wave of laughter that started in the front of the trolley and then rolled all the way back. Finally the conductor was laughing so hard she said, “We have to switch songs now.”
Shakes piggy head. Those two humans of mine can’t be trusted to even go out and watch the lights.
For your entertainment friends – let’s jam! Yep, I found this on mom’s iPhone. I tell you she gets into so much trouble when her and dad go out unchaperoned. Snorts.

So I saw this little jingle with the cute little kitty doing a dance and I thought, why not? It is finally Spring and I am feeling so frisky – in a good way. I don’t want you to start thinking of me like that. Nope, no way, not going to happen. I’m talking frisky as in wanting to run. You see during the winter months, I have a tendency to just want to sleep and eat… kind of like a hibernation of sorts. I just don’t feel like running – it’s way too cold for me.
So this weekend, I was on a roll. I ran around the back yard in my magical kingdom. I played with mom and we rolled around in the clovers. We sat for a long time and basked in the sun. We just ‘hung out’ together and had a great time.
Later in the day, daddy even got the grill out to cook some dinner. I might have or might have not begged for some chicken. Hey, it’s what I do. And by the way, it was delicious.
But then later, we all went inside of the Hotel Thompson.
I remembered the picture of the kitty singing his song so I ran through the front room singing it too.. well what I thought was the words. Can you believe when I did it, mom and dad almost fell off the sofa because they were laughing so hard? The nerve of them, huh? I can’t help it that I resemble my song. You want to hear it too? Okay, don’t laugh – pinky promise okay. Here it goes:
There is *nothing* like starting your day off with receiving an award from a friend! This Friday the 13th is staring off fabulous for this little oinker. My tail is wagging so fast – mommy says that she can almost see me taking off from the speed of the wag – snorts – silly mommy.
This morning my friends (Basil, Buddy, Noah and Nacho) at http://hutchagoodlife.wordpress.com granted me the Sunshine Award. What a delightful award on this cold-fixing-to-rain-kind-of Friday. It’s really funny that they thought of another song when posting their award – “Ain’t no sunshine when she gone…” My first thoughts are:
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away
This is how *I* feel about all of my friends here in blogville. I love you all more than you know!
The rules of the Sunshine Award are:
1) Use the logo above in the post. √
2) Link to whoever nominated you. √
3) Write ten pieces of information about yourself. √
4) Nominate ten fellow bloggers “who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogsphere.” √
5) Leave a comment on the nominees’ blogs to tell them of the award. √
Ten Facts About *ME* 🙂
My favorite movie to watch is Charlotte’s Web. I will watch it intently. In fact, I made mommy watch it with me this week. She cried like there was no tomorrow. I snuggled her at the same time.
I have chores at the Hotel Thompson. Can you believe the humans have cheap labor? I help my daddy drag my dirty things to the laundry room on wash day. And I help mommy put all of my toys in my toy chest in my bedroom.
I have a king sized Egyptian cotton sheet that is all mine. 🙂 I drag it around the house, play with it and sleep with it. It’s kind of like my security blanket. I “borrowed” it from mommy one day. She saw how much I loved it and told me I could have it. Isn’t she the best!
The worst thing that I do? – snorts. I step on my mom/dad’s feet with my hooves. I really don’t do it on purpose. But man, do they make some neat moves dancing around when I accidentally do it.
I watch a lot of paranormal shows with my mommy. Secretly I think I would be a great ghost pig investigator in search of the unknown. Really, I just need my shot!
I type about 25 hpm (hooves per minute). My time is increasing every month!
There is only one food that I don’t much care for. I’ll eat it but it’s not my favorite. In fact, the first time I had it, I do believe one ear went in one direction and the other ear went in the opposite direction. What was the food? Kumquats – sweet/sour combined.
My nana once pigsat me while mom/dad went out of town for THREE days. When they came back home, I had ate so much at nana’s that I couldn’t even squeak!
At night, mom has to put my remote control for my television in my bedroom up on my book shelf. If not, I will find it, turn on the television in the middle of the night and watch it.
I love bananas. Once, mommy was holding one and wasn’t thinking about me being in the room. I tried to climb up her bare legs to get to the banana. Oops – I left some treadmarks on her long legs too. But on the other hoof, I got the banana 🙂
Miniature pot bellied pig and friends - Bacon, Houdini, Hemi and all of the Rock Clan with Journalist Rocky the Squirrel all out looking for adventures from the Hotel Thompson.
