Happy Last Day of the Month

Happy Saturday my dear sweet friends.  Today is the last day of September and the spooky month of October starts tomorrow.  I wanted to give you a heads up about October.  October is going to be a busy month for this little piggy.

I skyped a witch and she even saw me in her crystal ball.  Even she knew I was up to something before mom and dad did.  You see,  I’m going to have 31 days of Spook on my blog.  I’m personally going to highlight scary movies, television shows, legends, monsters and other things that go bump in the night.  I might even quiz you on some of them so be prepared.  Start brushing up on your trivia.  I hope it will be fun for everyone.

Daddy is Getting a Part-Time Job

Our big surprise is coming up in September – just mere months away!  So dad thought he would be resourceful and get a part-time gig with a mariachi band to help with saving some money.  And with Cinco de Mayo being in a couple of days, what better way, right?

So the next time you are in your local Mexican restaurant, be on the lookout for my daddy.  He will be the one singing off key with a southern twang.  You might want to consider giving him a little something to be quiet.

I wonder if we can find a Mexican poncho small enough for Houdini so he can go as his side kick?  You know – the more making extra money the better, right?  Snorts with piggy laughter.

 

Help Me… and Secrets

Mom/dad have lots of errands to get done today/tomorrow.  Mom even had to take off work to get everything done.  You do realize what that means, right?  It means no snuggles during the day time for us anipals.  That’s kind of crap I say.

Some of your from Facebook know that mom/dad have a secret they are keeping for the end of the year.  They are not telling.  I can’t believe that it’s still a secret cause mom/dad they have tendency not to keep their mouths shut.  Unlike a certain oinker – I can keep a secret.  Looks innocent.  But today, they are working on stuff for that secret.  All I know is there is LOTS of paperwork that mom has been going through, signing and filling out.  She has been a busy girl.  She has sent things out, gotten replies, signed sheets and sent them back.  

It goes on and on like that and has been for a couple of months.  Then mom/dad huddle in front of the laptop oohhing and aawing over things and mumbling to themselves.  And now today, they have appointments with the accountant, the lawyer and they have to go to the post office to send more stuff off.  What is up with that?  What can this giant secret be?

And then tomorrow… Lord help us all friends.  Tomorrow we have another delivery coming to the Hotel Thompson.  Not surprise deliveries – a washer and dryer.  Last weekend, the washing machine decided to give it up and quit.  It was tired.  I can’t really blame the washing machine.  He was 18 years old and had a great service life.  The washer was 30 years plus old so mom/dad got both replaced.  And yes… we just got a new refrigerator last month.  Shaking my head.  Mom is about to lose her mommy mind with the appliances here at the Hotel Thompson.  Let’s all pray that the delivery goes smoothly.  If not, you will hear my southern mommy going ballistic.  ❤

Dear Easy – Special Edition

September we have been highlighting some of my friends who volunteered to help me out with my Dear Bacon issue. I bet it was a blue pill with a rhombic shape… they are the pills that lift anything up… really anything and anybody…. Those kind of pills you can buy when you check your spam folder. No worries that you could be fooled by a hoax, the offers start always with “Dear Friend…” and friends never fool you, right?

It seems you are really my twin… what’s sad, because I’m sick of my singleness… butt maybe that’s just the first impression and there is a chance that we are related butt not by blood? Thanks that I have the chance to meet you. You must be the longlost twin of my mom. She wore exactly the same outfit like you, as they brought her home from hospital or wherever they found her.. Do you remember her? She just has no horn, butt probably hers grows inwards… Oh and btw: I’m a size XS…that means xtremely sloshed :o)

You have a very wise Pops. He knows that all girls have a shoe-obsession and that a butt is a good butt in the perfect jeans. Oh and to wear sunglasses your way has something of James Dean, I agree. Girls love rebells, so they will open you their heart and their treat packs. I have to admit that I’m a professed nudist, but maybe that’s the reason that I’m still single?

I got busted. Here’s the proof – thanks to my humans. During the day while they were at work, I got into the garbage can. I thought I was safe until this contraption got stuck on my head. Dude I couldn’t get it off. Any tips for my future escapades? Signed Lid of Shame

Dear Lid of Shame,
Your humans need a garbage can with an automatic lid, called Dive In in carnivore circles. That’s an essential equipment if they share their crib with a dog. Oh and I would remove that thingy before they come home… in worst case, next time they would save the money for a cone and try it with the lid of the treashure can…

Happy Last Day of the Month

Happy Monday my dear sweet friends.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of rest and relaxation and lots of great food!  We had a little bit of cooler weather here this weekend and I absolutely LOVED it.  There’s just something about the coolness of the air that makes this little oinker want to run!  I went out in the back yard with mommy and we played for a long time together.  We took turns playing tag and chasing each other.  I think I finally wore mommy out – snorts.  She sat on the ground and that’s when I hit her like a football player.  We just sat on the freshly cut grass, snuggled and baked in the sun.  It felt good.  I admit I liked it.  But don’t go telling a lot of people okay. 🙂 

I admit it went down hill after Saturday morning.  Deviled ham came out and I got into trouble.  I learned my lesson because yesterday I had to pay the time for the crime.  I hate that – it interferes with my snuggle time with mommy.  I don’t like it when mommy ignores me.  But we made good yesterday afternoon. All is now well at the Hotel Thompson.

Second off, the parents are trying to go to the beach in October so they are looking for a pig sitter for me.  I’ve told them that I’m old enough that I don’t *need* a pig sitter but mommy is insisting.  So they are taking interviews – snorts – this should be fun.  I do hope they let me sit in for this so called interviews.  I’d like to give my two cents on the unfortunate soul person they choose.  I wonder what my witch friend that I skyped saw about this situation?  Snorts.  Of course, I will keep you posted.
