You might remember a couple of weeks back I wished Percy Pig happy birthday. You can find the post here https://piglove.wordpress.com/2013/07/23/happy-birthday/ He actually turned 21 that day – what an accomplishment! Mommy has Percy Pig on her Facebook and we often read about the candy. We’ve wanted to try them and even mentioned it in my post.
Well let me tell you about the kindness of someone right here on our blog. Misaki, who is an Alaskan Malamute, has his own blog at http://themisadventuresofmisaki.wordpress.com/ Misaki emailed me to advise that his human works close to a Marks and Spencer that sells the Percy Pig candies and asked it we would like some. This little piggy was overwhelmed at the generosity of Misaki and his family.
Last night when mommy got home, we had a package in the mail and it was to me! I opened it up and there was a personalized letter from Misaki.
I was so piggy thrilled and excited! My first international mail from the United Kingdom. I couldn’t slow down from running throughout the Hotel Thompson. Mommy thought I was already high on sugar – snorts. We opened the package to find – insert angelic music here – Percy Pig delights! All kinds of Percy Pig delights! There was Percy Piglets, Percy and Penny, Percy Pig and Percy Pig and Friends. So much to choose from! Mommy opened up the bags and put them in a tight sealed container. I got to pick one to eat – snorts. She *thought* she was going to get a picture – snorts. She gave it to me and I was so hyped up from getting the package that I took off to my room to eat it.
Might I add – it was delicious! It was kind of like a gummy bear and we all know that I absolutely LOVE my gummy bears. It was sweet with a fruity taste. I like to refer to them as pig heaven – snorts. Mom/dad tried one as well. Daddy was not a big fan. He doesn’t know good taste when it comes to gummy bears like me and mom do 🙂 Mom, of course, loved them too.
You’re probably asking what they look like. Well, that’s easy. They look like little pigs 🙂 Except for the package of Percy and Friends. They have pigs, cows and sheep. Cool huh? Here’s a picture of them.
So Misaki and family – thank you so very, very, very MUCH! I can’t tell you thank you enough. Thank you so much for thinking of this little oinker and making his week with such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Many hogs and snout kisses my friend – XOXO – Bacon
