Paw Time with Houdini

What?  Me caught doing something?  I wasn’t doing anything.  Honestly – dog’s honor.  I can’t help it that Hemi slapped me in the hiney so I slapped him back… and then jumped up here barking at him so he would get into trouble.  I would never start anything – no way.  I’m too cute to start something… Yeah that’s it.

But I was up here gnawing on a dog bone that my brother Phenny sent me from across the pond.  It’s a cool bone too.  Hard plastic with lots of ridges for my teeth.  Heck, I even take that bone to bed with me at night.  I guess you could call it my security bone.  Thanks brother!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  I’m so hoping to go for a spin in mom’s Prius.  That car is just my size!

I introduced mom’s new ride Hot Lips to you last week.  Let’s play a game.  Mom’s new car Hot Lips is a 2018 Toyota Prius Hybrid.

How many miles do you think mom can go on ONE tank of gas?

The person who gets closest without going over will get a little something from the Hotel Thompson.  Remember, don’t go over on your estimate but get as close as you can.

I want to add this part to you – mom bought her new car on APRIL 17 and the dealership filled it with gas at that time.  Mom has not filled it up herself.  So here we are May 1 and it is still going on that one initial fill up by the dealership.  So you might want to think about that in your guess.  When mom actually fills up Hot Lips for the first time, she will take a picture of her odometer (which was 15 miles when she bought it) and share it with everyone to end the contest.  Good luck my friends ❤

 

Shopping with Mom

Hello friends!   I want to introduce you to the newest member of the Hotel Thompson.  This is Hot Lips.  Hot Lips is a 2018 Toyota Prius Hybrid with hypersonic red exterior and a panda mix interior.  It is mom’s dream car.  She has been talking about getting one for years and the timing came just right this past week.  It is definitely not the Prius that originally came out years ago.  Hot Lips has everything – bluetooth, back up cameras, lane departure alert, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alerts, push button start – just to name a few.  Mom told dad she was going to get what she really wanted this time in features.

But the most important thing – it’s a Prius hybrid!  What does that mean?  It works on a battery like most cars but is also electric!  Mom doesn’t have to plug it in – it automatically charges itself while she drives.  Awesome huh?  Let alone mom was filling up the Jeep every single week at a minimum of $25.00 a pop.  This sweet ride will go – are you ready for this – at least 500 miles per fill up.  Talk about saving your wallet and the environment.

Hot Lips sits and drives like a sports car and has what mom calls a panda interior.  As you can see from the picture it’s black and white on the inside.  AND squeals – look at the world’s smallest gear shift – isn’t it cute?!
