One Drawing Daily

Oh my friends.  You *have* to check this out.  Our new friend Thomas from One Drawing Daily did a drawing of the little guy here Houdini, Thomas’ 444th drawing to be exact. It’s amazing!  He captured Hoo-Hoo’s personality and spunkiness in his drawing.  You have to check out Thomas’ web page here.  He has done some wonderful drawings of our fellow friends and we wanted him to do one of ours too.

This picture of Houdini on the right is from when mommy took him to the worky place with her one day.  He sat on her desk like that while she pounded away at her keyboard.  It was too cute.  If you notice in Thomas’ drawing, he even picked up his ear position which is dominant in Houdini.  Houdini always has his ears perked in this position with his head slightly moved as to say, “What’s up my friend?”

Thank you again Thomas for doing such an extraordinary job drawing our little guy here at the Hotel Thompson.  Houdini brings us a lot of fun and spunk!

My friends at MyThreeMoggies are hosting a 40 Winks Post today.  They want everyone to post a picture of themselves a sleep in their funniest position.  Oh boy – do we have some funny positions as anipals… right?  But you know – the humans have equal amounts of funny in their sleeping habits as well.  So here are our contributions to 40 Winks – I think we have everyone covered.  Happy 40 Winks my friends!

 

 

 

 

Do *You* Have What it Takes?

Okay my friends – here’s your chance!  I get lots of snail mail and emails from anipals needing help desperately.  Heck, me and my mailman are now on a first name basis!

Are you patient?  Are you great at giving advice?  Do you have a warped sense of humor?  Do you often give out advice to your friends for free?

If so, this job is for YOU my friend. As you know, my weekly Dear Bacon issue comes out every Tuesday.  I am opening up my calendar for September 2014 for Special Guests to do my weekly issue.  That’s 5 weeks that are available on a first come first serve basis.

I will forward you my letters/pictures and all you have to do is answer the letters and return them back to me upon completion.  I will then give you a date that it will be published.  Sound like fun?
