Okay mom got her nails done this week. She is … what did she say… conflicted. She doesn’t know if she loves the new paint or if she hates it. So we are throwing it out there – yay or nay?
It’s kind of a speckled color mixed with white, pink and black. Dad says it looks like Marble counter top that you would find in the kitchen – Snorts. He does have one thing right about that – mom’s expensive tastes – HA! Rolls with piggy laughter on that.
They also have this speckled look in sapphire, white and black and red, white and black which are possibilities for next time if she figures out if she likes this or not. She said she was also looking at maybe getting white tips with this look next time – whatever that means.

Love is in the air here at the Hotel Thompson. Valentines Day is right around the corner. It’s a special day . You see mom and dad got engaged on Valentines Day many, many, many years ago – snorts.
Our pet rocks here are growing and want to do something special for Valentine’s Day. They are willing to be involved in the making of a love connection. Kind of like a twist between the Bachelor and the Dating Game.
We now have three men rocks – Manny, Benedict and Bashful. We also now have three women rocks – Princess Coralena, Virginia and Rockelle. We are putting love to the test and are counting on you for help.
We are going to let you our blog friends VOTE on who goes out on a date with who for Valentines Day. I will post their ‘date night’ on Monday, February 17, 2014. What they did, where they went, what troubles they got into. You know all of the juicy behind the scenes stuff.
Today we vote for the bachelorette. Who will go out on a date. Here’s a little bio of each for you to decide.
Bachelorette #01 – Princess Coralena
Princess Coralena comes to us from the happy place called Hawaii. She is a princess who loves romance, kind gestures and spice.
Princess Coralena’s view on love, “I am from the romantic islands of Hawaii where love is in the air at every turn. One day I will find my king to cherish and treat him like the rock he is. I love dancing – especially hula dancing – winks.”

Virginia came to us from Stuart in Virginia. She is sassy. Don’t let that demure look of green eyes and red lipstick fool you. She is a vixen. She’s read more Harlequin Romance novels than mom – and that’s a LOT!
Virginia’s view on love, “I look for a rock not on his looks but on his undying love for me. I’m looking for my missing piece to my heart and when the matching piece finds me, it’s for eternity. I love camping out on the sofa and being a couch rock watching romantic movies while holding hands.“

Rockelle came to us from Fozziemum in Australia. She has the cutest, sexiest little accent. She loves to party and have a great time.
Rockelle’s view on love, “Love as much as you can as long as you can. I love long walks, cooking and eating. Who doesn’t like eating? My favorite date is holding pebbles in a mountain stream while watching the stars in the sky.“

Manny comes to us from France via Easy. He is a lover, has humor but is French and knows how to use it. He sweeps women off of their rocks in just a matter of a few words. Manny is also an excellent chef specializing in French cuisine.
Manny’s view on love, “I am French. It’s all about the woman and my love for her. One day I will meet the rock that makes my mustache curl and I will know it is her. I will treat her like the Queen she is.”

Benedict Cumberock comes to us from the United Kingdom via Misaki. He’s a wonderful addition to the Hotel Thompson. Has a great sense of humor, makes everyone laugh and loves to play games. He has a sensitive side and quite the history buff.
Benedict’s view on love, “What matters most is what is on the inside and I have lots of love there. When I finally find that special woman who looks past my eyes, I will be in heaven and there’s no place like that.”

Bachelor #03 – Bashful
Bashful started out here at the Hotel Thompson. He was a donation to me so that I would have a bit of company. Bashful has a wicked sense of humor with lots of love and a huge jokester. His favorite thing is to travel the world being an international rolling stone.
Bashful’s view on love, “Love is something special. Something to be shared with your other half that’s meant just for you. You treat her as special as she is for as long as you can.”

The month of October is over. Can I get a hallelujah? Can I get an oink oink? I have really tried to entertain all of my friends here in blogville with my 31 Days of Spook. I’ve highlighted cemeteries, haunted houses, haunted lighthouses, mysterious places and things that go bump in the night. Oh, and let’s not forget the most frightening thing of all – frying bacon! – THUD Piggy Down!
It was tough at times being creative and my inner Count Baconula came out to play. I really hope that you enjoyed the little devil in me and had a great time with the month of October. I also hope that you saw that I’m more just than a piggy that squeals with glee and who is really extraordinarily handsome – snort snort – okay I’m pushing it, I know.

Everyone should know that I’ve been in piggy therapy for my anti-nature problems. It is definitely a work in progress. Therapy is not just for the humans. It’s for animals as well. I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching.
The topic came up this past weekend and daddy doesn’t think I will ever make it outside. Mommy on the other hand is not giving up on this little oinker. What say you?

Last night I couldn’t sleep. While the humans were sleeping, I was surfing the net on my laptop in my bedroom. SSHHH – Don’t tell mom. Mom’s birthday is in July and I’ve been trying to come up with something unique, something different, something that she doesn’t already have but will think of me when she uses it. I found the perfect thing – see picture 🙂 I was very proud of myself for finding it.
I personally think mom would be the BOMB wearing this around the house, shoes optional. I kind of favor the black one with the pink belly… I’m not sure why. They look kind of comfy too.
