Bacon’s Show and Tell

Welcome my friends to my Bacon’s Show and Tell.  Today we are discussing embarrassing moments from childhood.  Trust me.  I have a good one to share today.  I thought long and hard and have to tell you about my daddy.  Snorts – yep poor dad. Are you ready for this?  Here we go.

When dad was a small boy – I’m going to say around 6-7 years young, his mom took him shopping with her at a local store.  This store had big tall windows all across the front of the store.  Daddy and his mom was in the store shopping for a long time and finally got to the front registers overlooking the windows.  Daddy told his mom that he needed to go to the bathroom and he was jumping all around – you know like some little boys do.  So his mom told him to go out front and wait for her there.  You know back in the day when you could actually do that with no worries that someone might take your child.

So there daddy was in front of the store and his mom was waiting patiently in line to buy her items.  That’s when it happened.  What do you ask.  Well there were snickers, then rolls of laughter and then came the pointing outside the front window.  You see, there was the cute little boy that was standing outside peeing.  Not just peeing straight into a puddle.  Oh no, that wouldn’t be my daddy.  My daddy was outside peeing on the front windows and making designs with his pee.  Shaking my piggy head.  Yep, his mother was so proud.

His mom quickly paid for her purchases, stomped outside and without missing a beat picked daddy up under her arms and continued to the car.  All the time…. daddy was continuing to pee freely in the air.  Well, he did tell her that he needed to go to the bathroom, right?

Dad Has *Finally* Went Crazy

What can I say my friends.  It was bound to happen.  Dad was always close to stepping over that fine line of crazy.  He has succeeded today.  Shaking piggy head.  I’m just sitting here in the living room waiting for the fine men that bring the padded jackets to the Hotel Thompson.

You see, mom/dad went and had Mexican food for dinner last night.  Dad says he was starving – rolls piggy eyes – as if.  When his tacos came to the table, he picked one up and say, “What’s that my friend? I love you too. Oh I agree.  I can’t wait for you to be in my belly!”

Really daddy?  I just have one question.  Why is it that daddy can play with his food but us anipals can’t?  Go ahead mom/dad.  I’m waiting patiently for the answer.

I Be Running – Flashback

See, when I was younger (snort – like it’s been that long ago), I used to run around the house chasing the purr thing Hemi.  I still have my moments but these were the days running loose and fancy free around the Hotel Thompson barking at everything.  Hemi and I actually play chase up and down the hall.  He has an edge over me cause he can jump on the furniture and swing off the ceiling fans.  My pot belly denies me this but I do have the speed.  Hope you enjoy the memories.  Be sure to let me know what you think.  Hogs and snout kisses – Bacon.

Piggy Down

Sometimes a pig just has to do what a pig has to do – land and take a little siesta. This little pig was running around so much playing… and getting into things as mommy added… that I got totally piggy exhausted. I think mommy said I slept a good solid hour. I was sleeping so hard at one time that she said she got on the floor with me to check my breathing. I was fine. I was just tired.

I kind of like the angle that mom used to take this picture too. It doesn’t show all of my great fat rolls and actually makes me look like a skinny piggy. Yep, I think I might use this picture for our Christmas cards here this year at the Hotel Thompson. Way to go mom.

And I know you are just wondering what kind of trouble I got into, right? Well, you know us pigs. We are really intellectual and learn things really fast. While mommy was cleaning up my bedroom, I learned how to open up the piggy gate that separates the front room and the kitchen. 🙂 two points for this oinker. I was able to roam freely into the kitchen, go up to the big ice box that keeps the food and open the freezer which is on the bottom. I was stumped after that though. All the food was frozen! What’s up with that? Why can’t mommy have the freezer on top and the good food on the bottom where “I” can get it? Then, I could fix my own snacks. Wouldn’t that be great? Darn – mom didn’t go for it either.
