Oh dear friends – I can’t keep my head up. I’ve been tired all week. I watched the Puppy Bowl last Sunday and got really into the game. I barked. I ran around the front room. I pounced. I played. I wore myself out. Heck, let alone when mom/dad’s Super Bowl came on television, I could barely keep my head up. I admit it. This is me – one tired little puppy. Daddy said I didn’t miss much from his game and that he had more enjoyment watching me with the Puppy Bowl. It was fun for sure.
Yawns… I’ve gotta go take another nap. I’m so tired still! Enjoy Jokes with Daddy my friends.
Barks! Hey friends. How has your week been going? Do you smell that?? It’s the weekend! I can finally smell it and trust me, I won’t be kicking anything over on it. I’m ready for some snuggles and laptime. And I know mom/dad will both be home Sunday for the big game – the adult Super Bowl. Of course, I will be catching the Puppy Bowl before that – can’t wait!! So much fun is going to take place this weekend.
We got the new fridge just in time and it’s filled with goodies for the big day. Will you be watching too? Our Atlanta Falcons are playing right here from our backyard. Mom bought me a jersey that I’m going to wear all day long – you know to support the team. The goodies are being pre-planned and the electronics are being set. I’m practicing my “Rise Up” look in this picture. Can you see it?
Now I leave you with Jokes with Daddy. Can’t forget about pops today. Enjoy and have an awesome weekend!!
Hello sweet friends. How was your Christmas holiday? Barks – can you say that we anipals played too hard here at the Hotel Thompson. We were chasing each other up and down and all around the Hotel Thompson. It was a blast!
And do you like my new Christmas onesie that I got in my Christmas stocking? Can you read what it says on the butt? It says, “I Party With Santa”. Isn’t that so appropriate? HA!
Well I hope you had a great holiday and week sweet friends. I leave you today with the last Jokes with Daddy for the year. Hope you enjoy!
Do you know what this picture is my friends? It’s me getting plenty of rest today. Why? Because when mom gets home today from the worky place – guess what? She will be home for TEN ENTIRE DAYS with us anipals here at the Hotel Thompson. Can you believe that? Hops around with puppy excitement. We can’t believe it here! We are that thrilled. Ten whole days of snuggles and treats and fun and rides. It will be a blast. In fact, that was our Christmas wish from Santa this year – to have mom home more. What’s your wish?
I leave you now with my crazy daddy. I think he’s excited to have mommy home too for a while ❤
Barks! Hello friends – how are you doing? I’m just here chilling out on *my* ottoman. It’s the perfect place to hang out to watch television. This date I was watching the cartoon channel. You gotta love some Scooby Doo – he rocks totally! Do you like my onesie I’m wearing? Notice the teddy bear on my butt? It’s been following me around. I keep trying to catch him but he’s fast. The outfit keeps me warm and cuddly but I do have one bad thing to say about it. Do you know how hard it is to maintain your toughness while barking at the mailman dressed in a cute little onesie with a teddy bear on your butt? The mailman laughed at me. Can you believe that friends? He laughed! A nice loud chuckle at that. I’m so going to have to rethink my attire.
Today, I leave you with something that daddy has found recently while shopping. All of us here at the Hotel Thompson think that this is one of our favorite Santas. What do you think?
Hello sweet friends! I hope that you are having a great week. After 40 something days of no rain, I’m glad to report that my raincoat made it happen this week. We have gotten bunches and bunches of rain this week. Mom says she might have to put swimmers on to get to the Jeep if it keeps it up. Now wouldn’t that be an awesome picture for my blog? We tried this week to get a family portrait. Try was the word… can you say three out of five is not bad? Bacon captured this pic of Hemi and me fighting for dad’s attention. It turned out pretty well – even if dad wasn’t looking at the camera. We will definitely keep trying to get the perfect picture. It’s definitely a work in progress.
And today I leave you with daddy being well daddy. Hope you enjoy my friends.
Hello friends – barks! How has your week gone so far? Coming off the awesome Thanksgiving day holiday, we are very well fed here and enjoyed lots of lap time in mom/dad’s laps for sure. In fact, us anipals tried to help mom with everything while she was off of work. You know the basics like cooking, cleaning, eating and relaxing. Hey, it’s the least we can do, right? We also tried to help her – are you ready for this – wrap up presents to be mailed out. She says we were not much help. I don’t know what she means by that. Us anipals have to test these gifts out for our friends. What kind of friends we would be if these gifts didn’t stand up to our levels.
This is a picture of me earlier this week wearing my raincoat that my Auntie Bev sent me from Australia. You see, we were at Day 44 with NO rain. Can you believe that? I thought if I put on my raincoat and did a bit of a Yorkie Raindance maybe the rain gods would be watching and give us some liquid refreshment. It must have worked because around Tuesday night/Wednesday morning the sky let go. We got bunches of water outside. So much so that mom wouldn’t let me jump in the puddles. She said I might drown. Silly mommy huh?
And today, I leave you with something that daddy found while shopping. You already know it’s going to be good, right? Enjoy peeps!
Hello friends – How was your week – your Thanksgiving? We are so full here at the Hotel Thompson. But never fear, instead of Black Friday at Petsmart, we will be conducting Operation Wrap and Box. Slowly but surely, mom is trying to get everything read to be mailed out very soon for Christmas. It is a process. Why do you ask? Because all of us anipals want to help. So some packages may have some hair from us anipals, maybe one of our lost toys or two – perhaps even a little drool. Just overlook that pals. Barks and rolls with puppy laughter.
Be safe my friends in whatever you are doing today. Our thoughts and hugs go out to you!
Now I leave you with something from daddy – ha! Enjoy ❤
Hello friends. I hope that your week is going well. Finally we all made it to FRIDAY. I think that Friday is probably one of the most favorable days of the week – you think? And this weekend is going to be awesome! Mom is not working and her/dad plan on spending a lot of time here at the Hotel Thompson which means plenty of LAP time – barks with puppy excitement. I think mom/dad plan on getting some holiday activities started and in the plans – so maybe I can help with lending a paw or something. You never know, right? I’ve heard mom say that she needs all the help she can get. Well, never fear – here I am to save the day.
I want to show you a new shirt that I got this week. I think it says everything perfect, don’t you? HAHAH
Are you ready for the holidays? Last year was my first Christmas but I was just a baby and I don’t remember much. So this year, I’m really looking forward to the excitment of meeting the big jolly guy we called Santa Paws. Mom/dad say that I might even get to meet him. That sounds way too cool. Have you ever met him? Please do tell me about it.
But today, I leave you with daddy… yep that crazy daddy of mine. Enjoy my friends and happy weekend!
Hey friends! How was your week? Mine was awesome – I got a lot of lap time from mom. You gotta love mommy lap time, right? It’s the bestest in the entire world. And I learned something so exciting and wonderful. If mom is walking or standing and if I reach out with my front paws on her leg, she picks me up and loves on me. OMD – why didn’t I learn this earlier in my puppy life? Every time I turn around now, I have to do this so mom holds me and only me. What a life!? If she holds me and puts me down, I give a little grunt of dissatisfaction and she picks me back up. WOW! Then she carries me everywhere – to the mailbox, out in the back yard, up the street to Nana’s – wherever. Did you know this maneuver my friends? If not, you need to try it and let me know what you think.
And this picture of me – let me explain 😦 You see I went to sleep and when I woke up the pillow had exploded. Yep that’s it. That’s the story I’m sticking to for sure – looks innocently and gives you a puppy kiss.
Miniature pot bellied pig and friends - Bacon, Houdini, Hemi and all of the Rock Clan with Journalist Rocky the Squirrel all out looking for adventures from the Hotel Thompson.
