My Sweet Nylablue

 In Honor of My Sweet Nylablue

  You may be gone but you are not forgotten.  I close my eyes and smile.  I dream of you running without pain or illness through the daisies chasing butterflies and looking so beautiful.  When I’m silent and still in my toddler bed with my Egyptian cotton sheet around me, I can almost hear your purrs in my ear – just like old times.  You were my first kitty girlfriend – my sweet purr thing – my snugglebug and you always will be the love of my life ❤  

I think of you now watching over all of us that are still here.  You touched my life in so many ways.  You showed us how to keep fighting for life and things you wanted.  You showed us love beyond what we could ever imagine.  I was privileged to have you in my life – your love was an added bonus that I will *NEVER* forget.  You will always be part of my heart.  

I pray for your mom and send her loads of hogs and snout kisses.  May she find some peace and remember that we all are here for her in her time of need.

Spies Like Us – 1st Set of Nominations

OMP (oh my pigs)!  When me and my buddy Fozzie opened up this contest, I don’t think we thought we would get such AWESOME pictures.  We want to say thank you so very much my friends for all of the submissions for Spies Like Us.  All I can say is WOW!  We knew *we* could do it.  We knew *we* could catch our humans in the most strangest of all predicaments.  AND WE WERE RIGHT.  Our fellow anipals – ya’ll did an excellent job.  I mean EXCELLENT.  I’m going to break down the submissions into two days – today and tomorrow  Remember to share this posting on your blog with your friends so they can vote on MONDAY, AUGUST 18, 2014.

Submission 1 – Can you guess which one of our friends dressed up like Boy George during their day and strutted their stuff?  Can you?  Submission 1 was submitted by Sherri-Ellen – you know Nylablue’s mommy.  Isn’t this awesome?  I wonder if she sang Karma Chameleon while she was dressed up like Boy George?  Or maybe it was I’ll Tumbe 4 Ya.  Do you remember the name of the band that Boy George was in?  If you said Culture Club – you would be right!  Just like we thing Sherri-Ellen was right on the money dressed up in this outfit.  Way to go my friend!!

Submission 2 –  We know the humans do weird things in their day grooming themselves.  Easy was able to catch his mother with her hair up – literally.  Then mom had Easy’s undivided attention – was it the hair?  Was it the sweet talking to Easy?  Was it the scratching of his neck?  Who knows – but thanks to Easy for snapping this wonderful picture of his human!  Oh, and you are actually wondering what was in her hair?  Per Easy, it was the board rolls that you find inside of toilet paper.  Easy’s mom said that her fur is too long for common hair curlers.  What do you know – maybe that’s all the new style now?  Who would have thought that?

Submission 3 – OMP (oh my pigs!)  Speedy definitely got the scoop on my little tyke – the international rolling stone Bashful.  Speedy said he was absailing.  That rock sure does get into a lot of weird predicaments doesn’t he?  In fact, it kind of looks like he’s bungee jumping.  Snorts – way to go Speedy!

Submission 4 – Do you recognize this human partaking in Gravy Bones?  Note to humans – that’s *our* food.  You can’t have it okay.  Snorts – this submission was from Misaki of his mother getting into his Gravy Bones.  I wonder what she thought of them.  Were the good?  Chewy?

I might to put some of these on mom’s grocery list for the market so I can try some – licks piggy lips.  Awesome photo!

Submission 6 – Oh dear piggy heavens.  I had to submit this one of my strange human daddy.  I don’t know what he was doing in the driveway.  Maybe it was his rendition of John Travolta dancing.  I don’t know.  Shakes piggy head.  He was rocking that orange though wasn’t he?  Maybe he was pointing to something flying in the sky over the Hotel Thompson?  Maybe it was a bird, a plane, or maybe me Super Piggy?  Oops, sorry I digress.  Let me get back on track.

Dear Kuruk, There’s this great invention that someone invented call central air conditioning. In this heat of the summer, I’m not moving from my comfy place on the sofa. What do you do to stay cool? Signed Stretch

Dear Stretch, I wish I had central air conditioning! I like Hot Hot Hot’s idea to lay on some ice cubes, but usually to stay cool I sit in front of a fan or by the breezy windows. All this talk of heat makes me want to go to the snowooowooooooooo!

Peeping Tom!?

 

  Oh my!  My sweet precious snugglebug girlfriend Nylablue sent me this email last week.  I was horrified to know that a Peeping Tom was active in the area.  Heck, I had to ask mom what a Peeping Tom was and then I was shocked.  There better not be a Peeping Tom watching my sweet purr thing.  This is what Nylalove’s email said:

“This girl I know lives on the 4th floor of an apartment and even though it is a fairly good neighborhood, she has been seeing a Peeping Tom that lives next door.  Every time she goes out on her balcony to catch a bit of sun while wearing her bikini, this Peeping Tom looks over from his balcony as soon as she removes her top and stares at her.  She has complained to the superintendent about this Peeping Tom but he says she must have positive proof before he can do a thing.  She FINALLY got a picture of him while he was staring at her.”

Cards and a Package

 Earlier in the week, I got two things in the mail in ONE day.  You talk about a piggy being excited and running around the house squealing – that was me!  Of course daddy was mean and wouldn’t let me open up anything until mommy got home from the worky place… he’s such a bubble popper – snorts.

When mommy got home, I was walking the floors looking for her.  I was kind of excited and didn’t wait for her to even change clothes before I was jumping on her and squealing.  We opened my card first… piggy blushes.  It was from my girlfriend Nylablue and her mom Sherri-Ellen.   They are so sweet.  I borrowed dad’s credit card a couple of weeks ago and sent them both a pick me upper from this winter snow.  I think they enjoyed it!  Plus the package had daisies and lady bugs on the boxes… I was hoping that my Nylablue would correlate that with a date we went on back in  March.  You can read all about it here.

Then I got a package from down under – that’s right Australia from Fozzie.  I squealed!  Look at the goodies she sent me – and OMP (oh my pig) isn’t that piggy pencil holder/pencils the most adorable thing you’ve seen since I was a baby piglet??  Fozzie even sent my mom some Mickey Mouse band-aids.  Personally between you and me, I think mommy wanted a boo-boo just so she could use a MM band-aid.  They are adorable!  AND, my stickers – YES!  I can’t wait to use them on some special letters I’ll be sending out soon.

Sleep Tight Little Bacon

 I can admit that my life here at the Hotel Thompson *might* be a little privileged – just a bit.  I like a little structure in my life.  When it’s time for me to go to bed at night, mommy tells me to go get ready for sleepy time.  I go do my ‘business’ and then climb into my toddler bed in my bedroom.

Mom then comes in to my bedroom and tucks me into my bed with my favorite Egyptian cotton sheet.  She then reads me a bedtime story or we watch a short cartoon on my television.  Mommy usually leaves the room once I’m asleep…. like this picture.

She often wonders what I’m dreaming about with this look of peace and happiness on my face.  It could be that I know I’m loved.  It could be that I’m just happy.  It could be that I know I’m a little spoiled.  It could be that I’m dreaming of my girlfriend.. Nylablue.

What makes you happy and brings a smile to your face my friends?

 

Oh My Nylablue –

Uh-oh.  I’m in trouble with the love of my life – my Nylablue.  I’m in what dad calls the proverbial pig house – similar to a dog house.  You see, I was just fooling around yesterday on April Fools Day when I did a post titled I’m Sorry.   It was just a joke.  You know how us guys can be.  But my beloved, she read it and didn’t wait to go down to the bottom of the page so she thinks I strayed.  Which might I add, I would never do on my Nylablue – my heart – my sweet little purr thing that holds my piggy heart.  She wouldn’t even talk to me last night via her mom Sherri-Ellen.  My poor Nylablue stomped off to her bedroom and wouldn’t come back out.  Thus, I am in DEEP trouble.  I guess you could say this was our first squabble.  So I need to show my Nylablue how I feel about her.

My love Nylablue. My heart is only for you.

It’s not meant for any other.  You’re the glue that keeps me together.

You are so beautiful and I’m not delusional.

I love you with all my heart and there’s no reason for me to dart.

Because when I am about, I don’t want to be without.

You’re like a dove in my heart that fills me with such love.

So this little piggy loves his little kitty.
