Goofy Daddy

This can’t end well my friends.

Daddy says he has a light bulb moment and that he now has a bright idea.  Rolling my piggy eyes to the high heavens.  This can’t end well, seriously.  Supposedly he has come up with an idea or shall we say a time schedule on doing things here at the Hotel Thompson for the holidays.  Translation of this means – mom now has a schedule of when to do what and where.  Snorts with piggy laughter.  Now some of the things he has plans, I agree with 100%.  Like shopping for me – HA!

But instead of Black Friday shopping, get this.  Dad wants to stay at home and help mom with the packing and writing of Christmas cards.  What?  Did dad fall on his head?  He *always* likes to go shopping on Black Friday.  But this year he says everything is basically done and he wants to pack up what is to be mailed out to all over the world and mail it on Saturday with Christmas cards.  WOW.  I guess there are miracles after all – snorts with piggy laughter.

So friends – what are your traditions after Thanksgiving?  Do share and tell ❤

Bacon’s Show and Tell

Welcome my friends to my Bacon’s Show and Tell.  Today we are discussing embarrassing moments from childhood.  Trust me.  I have a good one to share today.  I thought long and hard and have to tell you about my daddy.  Snorts – yep poor dad. Are you ready for this?  Here we go.

When dad was a small boy – I’m going to say around 6-7 years young, his mom took him shopping with her at a local store.  This store had big tall windows all across the front of the store.  Daddy and his mom was in the store shopping for a long time and finally got to the front registers overlooking the windows.  Daddy told his mom that he needed to go to the bathroom and he was jumping all around – you know like some little boys do.  So his mom told him to go out front and wait for her there.  You know back in the day when you could actually do that with no worries that someone might take your child.

So there daddy was in front of the store and his mom was waiting patiently in line to buy her items.  That’s when it happened.  What do you ask.  Well there were snickers, then rolls of laughter and then came the pointing outside the front window.  You see, there was the cute little boy that was standing outside peeing.  Not just peeing straight into a puddle.  Oh no, that wouldn’t be my daddy.  My daddy was outside peeing on the front windows and making designs with his pee.  Shaking my piggy head.  Yep, his mother was so proud.

His mom quickly paid for her purchases, stomped outside and without missing a beat picked daddy up under her arms and continued to the car.  All the time…. daddy was continuing to pee freely in the air.  Well, he did tell her that he needed to go to the bathroom, right?

What was the defining moment when you knew you were in your forever home?  When I stuck my tongue out at my mommy and she let me get away with it.

.

What has been your biggest “Oh no, now I’ve done it” moment so far in your home?  When my mommy found out I ate poo-poo.  I thought it was chocolate!  Whoops.

.

Who doIMG_4494 you have wrapped around your paws more – mom or dad – and why?  Both of my mommies.  I’m fortunate to still have my real mommy.  She still tries to clean me.  I let her clean my face but get upset when she tries to clean my belly.

And my other mommy cause I roll over on my back and she gives me raspberries on my belly.  It tickles and puts me to sleep at the same time.

.

.

What’s the biggest misconception that humans think about you?  Humans think I’m mean – but who could resist this face!?
