A New Addition

Oh SQUEALS!  We have a new addition in the family.  Well, not my family here at the Hotel Thompson but at Nana’s up the street.  On Saturday, Nana asked mommy to take her to McDonough, Georgia where they were having Dog Days.  Here they had all kinds of things for dogs, supplies, food, crafts and adoptions.  Nana was just going to “look” but we ALL know how that turns out, right?

Well to the left is a picture of Nana who met this dog.  This dog is shepherd mixed.  He was shy but very friendly and seemed to hit it off with Nana right away.  In fact, Nana got down to his level and talked to him for a while stroking his back.  After a bit, Nana got up and walked across the area.  The doggy kept looking at her and wanted to go after her.  Can you believe that?  I think they had an instant connection.

Nana filled out the paperwork and decided that he needed to come home with her to his forever home. ❤

But first, we needed to stop by a pet store to buy some supplies.  I think the cutie looked so at home in these pictures I got off of mom’s phone.  Look at him in all his glory!  Mommy said he sat in the buggy, didn’t try to jump out, didn’t bark and just looked so darn happy.  He even took a cookie from the cashier gently and ate it.  Neato huh?

Now for the name.  Nana decided on calling him Dingo – so cute!  He is only 4 months old and has a LOT of puppy in him.  He was rescued with his brothers when they were born at the Humane Society.  As soon as he got to Nana’s, he followed her around the house… like a puppy!  He went outside in her fenced backyard and drunk water like there was no tomorrow.  In fact, Nana says he LOVES water.  And Dingo is getting along great with Nana’s other doggy – Tinky!

So my friends, let’s welcome Dingo to our family!

Juvenile rolling stone has struck again!

Information has been received over the afternoon wire reports that the juvenile rolling stone has yet been caught again in another act of mischief.  This time, the act took place in a local Toys R Us department store in McDonough, Georgia.  Unlike the other two times, the juvenile rolling store was caught in a ‘toy’ buggy rolling down a store aisle singing Joan Jett’s famous song I Love Rock N Roll

Authorities believe that this is the same juvenile rolling stone that was caught in May at a local Wal-mart store and then again in June at a local Target store.  In both of these instances, the juvenile rolling stone was video taped riding a skateboard unlike the current sighting.  When authorities were questioned as to thy they think it is the same juvenile stone and why, they replied, “It’s all in his itty bitty shaky eyes.  He has the look of a rock gone bad.”

Authorities are also advising the public not to try and apprehend this juvenile delinquent rock by themselves but to please call your local police station.  If you have any information on this juvenile rolling stone, please leave a comment here.
