Bouquet of THREE Awards

 I am speechless.  If you have known me for any length of time, you know that is almost impossible.  I opened up my comments this morning and was granted the most sincere message.  I was posted with the Bouquet of Three Awards.  After getting my wits together and getting over being speechless, I squealed so loud that I think the rafters in the Hotel Thompson shook.  I took off running to find daddy so I could tell him.  We were ALL so excited.

Wandering Jouster (WJ as we like to call her) at http://wanderingjouster.com nominated me for the Bouquet of Three Awards.  THREE awards at one time – this may go to my little piggy head – snorts.  Thank you so much WJ for making my morning and starting my weekend off on the right hoove.  This is a wonderful gift on a Friday!!  She nominated this little piggy and wrote about me, “A little bit spoiled pig, loves enjoys talking about his/her misadventures. “

Snorts – yep I guess I would resemble that remark – snorts.  I do love talking about my misadventures and sharing them.  But spoiled – who’s spoiled – looks around innocently – snorts giggles.

Seven interesting tidbits about myself – the amazing pig – snorts

1.  I don’t like the feel of grass on my hooves.  It’s a texture thing – shivers.

2.  I have a king size Egyptian cotton sheet that is like my security blanket.

3.  Mom’s fixes me the best spinach omelets 🙂 Yep, she cooks for me.

4.  Mom has a painted picture of my snout in her office at the worky place.

5.  Daddy gives me animal crackers throughout the day while mom is working

6.  I have my own television in my own bedroom and I know how to work the remote.

7.  I have *my* own pet.  His name is Bashful and he is my pet rock.  He travels on field trips.

 

Possible “Beach” Time?

Now, understand that my mom has a really drawn out southern accent.  I had to do several double takes when she said, “Possible Beach Time”.  I thought I was going to have to make her put several quarters in the swear jar.  That is until dad said it.  It was a close call for this little pig.  I thought she had finally went over that fine line of insanity… which she says is a close line – snort oink.

I think it would absolutely be a wonderful thing to dip these hooves into the ocean waters and walk on the sand.  There’s just one problem though.  I don’t do nature.  eeww – there’s no telling what little creatures would be hiding out at the beach – like seaweed, stingy fish and fish for that matter. 

 

Seriously, I would not mind the destressing of being a beach pig, lying in the sun and playing in the water.  That could be fun – minus nature.   Heck that would be a hoot.  You know…. the original bacon in the sun.  Then again if I got too hot, we could have a problem Houston.  Everyone would come searching the bacon smell and I could be in trouble.

 

But just think of the beautiful sand castles that me, mom/dad could make at the beach.  My snout is a wicked tool and I could help.  You know, come up with some art like this –

Me + Beach = NOT happening.  So we need to start thinking of who is going to watch this little, sweet, precious, snuggble piggy in October when mom/dad go on vacation.  Any takers – snort.  I don’t require much.  Heck, I practically take care of myself.  I just require a few things:

• WiFi access
• Laptop or iPad
• Television
• Netflix
• Unlimited access to the magical kingdom called a kitchen
• My own bathroom facilities
• Snuggy time
• Toddler bed
• Nightly turn down service with a bedtime story
• Room service
• Maid to clean said room
• Massage therapy

Life is SO Hard

At any given time, when mom is home I am right beside her.  Either playing up and down the hall chasing each other, folding clothes in the laundry room, at her feet in the kitchen, being combed on the front room floor or sitting beside her on the couch.  It’s what I do – she’s my mommy.

Sunday it was no different.  I’m so spoiled.  All I have to do is put my two front hooves on the couch and believe it or not she will pick up my hams and help me up on the couch.  It’s amazing the love that woman has for me!  I know – unbelievable isn’t it?

I stayed with her on the couch and we watched television.  (I’m facing the television in this picture.)  We were watching football.  There’s something about that game that is so familiar to me.  I can’t quite put my hoove on it. 

I fell asleep at half time.  Everyone says that I’m huge.  But I want you to take a look at these little legs.  I’m not big.  I have a short carriage.  I think the pictures make me look huge.  You know what they say about a camera making you look like your 10 pounds heavier.  That has to be it. 

A little bit later on, mom got up to get a drink.  I woke up.  Mom just laughed at me.  The first thing I did – I yawned.  Mom forever with her camera got me in mid yawn.  See my little tongue.  Isn’t it too cute like me?  Wiggles tail.  A lot of people don’t think about my ‘mouth’ per say because they can’t get past my snout.  I have a mouth.  I have a little tongue.  I have little teeth. 

Of course, I had only been sleeping what 4 or 5 hours and woke up sleepy.  Me and mom got up to get a drink and guess what.  We both went right back to the sofa again – LOL  I love it when mom spends time with me on my sofa.  It’s our piggy mommy time!

 

Happiness

This morning after breakfast, mom took me to bed with her.  She said she was tired and I was cold so we snuggled down together.  She pulled me close to her and wrapped her loving arms around me.  She even pulled her fuzzy blanket up around both of us.  She stroked my back until I went to asleep.  It was the best sleep I had all night!  When her alarm clock went off, she had to get up to go to work.  But she told me that happiness was waking up beside the cutest little pig in the world and hearing him snore.  Aaaww – I love my mom.  She is the best.  When she feels bad, she says I make her feel better.  I sure know she makes me feel better when I feel bad.  Mom is the best like that.  After she got up and got ready for work, she picked me up, loved on me and tucked back in to my bed in my crate.  I’m one lucky little piglet 🙂
