31 Days of Spook – Story Submission

BOO!

How are you making it my dear sweet friends.  Are you enjoying my 31 Days of Spook.  Are you getting scared yet?  Do you need to hold my hoof?  Today I have another great story submission by my pals Mop, Dusty, Billy, Pip, Cupcake and Cocoa.  Do you know these happy little guinea pigs from Living the Squeak Life?  If you don’t you are surely missing out on some entertainment and adventures.  Be sure to visit their blog – and tell them that Bacon sent you.

“Whee went on a little camp not too long ago and stayed in a grand old house once the home of an old Earl. It wasn’t long before whee learned that the hall had many creepy stories hanging over it, wheek! Now whee will share our tale with you. Mop, being our story-teller, will lead this story.

I led my friends up the stairs. There were many grand stairs which led to a large room at the bottom. The perfect place for a wedding. I could already imagine the Bride-Pig coming down here from one side, meeting her father before descending down to meet the Groom-Pig at the bottom of the stairs.

Seemed I wasn’t the only one who thought this! For, what were the odds that on that very day there was a wedding?  A beautiful piggy in a gorgeous dress sat at the top of the stairs.

“Sorry!” I squeaked, filled with embarrassment. Pip was rather attracted to the pale grey sow but, I promptly reminded him that she was in a wedding dress. “I didn’t realize that there was a wedding here today.”

She promised that it was okay and so on whee carried. After exploring the hall whee headed back down to where our tour guide waited. “You didn’t tell us there was a wedding today!” Cupcake wheeked, ever the old romantic.

“There isn’t.” He replied.

Whee were horrified! Who was that whee had bumped into? A bit of research soon uncovered a creepy story about an unfaithful Bride-Pig who slept with another boar on the night before her wedding. In a rage the Groom-Pig killed her and she has wandered the halls ever since, looking for the wedding that never was. Is it her who whee saw? The Grey Piggy of the hall?”

Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy and Basil – Special Edition

This week we have a wonderful special edition of Dear Bacon.  This week, our piggy friends Nacho, Noah, Buddy and Basil are stepping in to answer some letters.  We are so excited for their help!  Give them your attention and be sure to reach out to them about a great job they did this week!

Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil,
This is just me and my boys hanging out at the corner. We like to wear shades so the girls can’t see us checking them out. Do you have any more ideas on how to pick up chicks? Signed Three Amigos

Hola Amigos!  Whee piggies are experts when it comes to ladypigs . . . erm ladypets. The trick is to tell them how bootiful they are. Simple as that. Before you know it they will be queuing round the block for a piece of you! Those shades look PAWesome and slightly bad boy. All girls love a bad boy.  The Four Brochachos  ~ Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil

Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil,
Finally spring is here! Time to get out my little ice cream picnic table and enjoy some afternoon treats. But I have to ask. Does that cone make my snout look big? Signed Hooked on Ben and Jerry

Hey there Hooked on Ben and Jerry’s – That pignic table looks super cute and I love the little parasol. I’m glad you ask about concerns about the way you look in pigtures because that’s something so many pets are going to worry about this Summer. With the PAWparrazzi round efurry corner it’s easy to find yourself in unflattering positions. However I don’t think you’ve got anything to worry about with having such a great figure. The impawtent thing is to pretend the camera isn’t there. You are FABULOUS and don’t you forget it fellow piggy!  Believe me – I’m Buddy

Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil,
If it fits, you must sits. I was only going to close my eyes for a few moments. Next thing you knew, I was in dreamland express. Where’s the weirdest place you ever fell asleep? Signed Boxcar Puppy

Hiya Boxcar Puppy – You look furry cute all sleepy there. The weirdest place I’ve ever fallen asleep. Hmmm, it would have to be the time when I climbed in the fruit bowl when Mummy’s back was turned. One minute I was on the little cushion on her lap, next I was on the table and by the time she turned I was curled up and napping in the nectarines! Good times furfriend, good times.  Sweet dreams – No Napping Nacho

Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil,
My dad keeps telling the most childish jokes. Really. He needs to give up his desire of being a comedian. This is the only look I can muster these days. Any more suggestions for me? Signed Tired of Faking It

Yo Tired of Faking It – Hearing you loud and clear there furfriend. You wouldn’t believe the jokes whee have in our house. I have found that a loud squeak or jumping off something and making lots of noise and mess during the punchline is a good way to stop these comedy dreams!  Noisily Not Laughing Noah

20140501-211342.jpg
Dear Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil,
Don’t let this cute, teacup size bunny fool you. It doesn’t matter how big the bun bun is in the fight but how much fight is in the bun bun. Inside I’m a jaguar waiting to pounce. Whistle. Get back and be afraid. How much fight do you have? Signed Splitting Hare

Wassup Splitting Hare – I am the same. Mummy says the biggest things come in the smallest packages because my massive pigsonality is overwhelming! Mummy calls me a git but I like to think I’m just feisty. Either way I get MY way and that’s what matters.   Any time you need a sparring partner shout for me.  Fight on Furfriend – Unbeatable Basil

************************************************************************************************************************

Thank you so much to Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil for this weeks special edition.  We appreciate it so very much!!

Remember friends – Dear Bacon can’t happen without your help.  Please continue to send your questions/pictures to me at baconthompson@gmail.com

THANKS!!

Dear Bacon – Super Hero Special

Recently, I’ve received a lot of mail in the form of Super Hero’s.  I wanted to save them for a special edition of Dear Bacon.  I hope you in blogville enjoy them as much as me and my parents did when we got them.  Snorts – Happy Tuesday!

**********************************************************************************************************************

20130820-052317.jpg

Dear Bacon,

We heard about your mission in life on becoming a Super Hero and wanting a cape.  I think me and my brother will start a petition for you.  With enough signatures, I think we can get your mom to get you at least dressed for the occasion.  Super hero powers are something that you are born with.  We’ve read enough of your blog to know that with enough thrust, you can fly.  So, you’re half way there our friend.  Signed Batdog and Robin

Dear Batdog and Robin,

Thanks my friends!  Ya’ll look totally awesome in your outfits.  I am so working on mom for my cape.  I could use all of the help I can get!

.

20130820-052310.jpg

Dear Bacon,

Don’t believe everything you read.  Having a cape isn’t always the best thing in the world.  My humans make me wear this cape and then make me sit in the corner.  Why?  Ask me why piggy?  Because I got so excited with my cape that I might have tinkled on the carpet.  What did they expect?  So, they sat me in the corner with my cape on for time out.  How embarrassing!  Take it from me little guy.  Don’t whizzle with excitement.  Signed Super Tinkle

Dear Super Tinkle,

I’m so sorry my friend.  That look on your face says everything.  At least they could have removed your cape before putting you in time out.  What super hero gets put in time out?  Having a cape is exciting.  I really can’t tell how I will act.  But, thanks for the heads up to contain myself – whizzle and all.

.

20130820-052332.jpg

Dear Bacon,

Be very specific in what you ask for in a cape.  I too always wanted one.  I just should have been a little more specific in the details.  You know like, nothing over my head.  Save that material to cover my goodies.  I mean really.  What super hero is out there with his goodies showing?  I feel like a pervedog.  Help.  Signed Spider Perve

Dear Spider Perve,

WOW – thank you so much my little friend.  I really never thought about specifics in my cape.  You are so right.  I really need to be detailed on what I want in a cape.  Okay – nothing on the piggy head but covering the bottom half – got it.  Yeah, you are so right my friend!

.

20130820-052340.jpgDear Bacon,

Okay, I like turtles and I play with them in my back yard.  Yes, I wanted to be a Super Hero.  Where in the world did I go wrong with my parents?  Why would they dress me like a TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) and think that was what I wanted in my Super Hero outfit?  Really?  Learn from me pal, have an open conversation with your humans.  Signed Turtle Dog

Dear Turtle Dog,

Does it help that you look cute and adorable?  Okay, maybe that doesn’t help but you do.  Personally, I wouldn’t go for the mask but at least your goodies are covered – snorts.  And hey, the shell on your back could be a good thing.  Just think if you fall, you have the comfort of some padding.  I do appreciate the heads up my friend.

.

Dear Bacon,

20130820-052401.jpg

Just remember, Super Hero’s come in all shapes and sizes – not just dogs and cats.  We can ALL be a Super Hero in some fashion.  My humans got it right in my cape.  It actually gives me just a tad bit of room to grow in.  It’s so roomy that I can move.  That’s important when you are doing your ninja kicks.  I hope you get your cape soon my friend.  Fly with Confidence!  Signed Super Piggy

Dear Super Piggy,

Thanks my friend.  You are so full of confidence and that really inspires me.  It reminds me of an old saying that my mommy says all of the time, “Bloom where you are planted.”  I guess that could mean us anipals as well, huh?  Keep up the great work my little Super Hero.  Hope to see you flying in the skies soon.

.

I really hope that you enjoyed this Super Hero Special of Dear Bacon.  I also really want to say thank you to all of my friends and family that send me emails with pictures and questions.  These Dear Bacon issues are by far the highlight of my week.  I put a lot of thought behind my answers and I hope that it shows.  Remember, us anipals have problems too.  If you have something you want to ask, please remember to send it to me at Baconthompson@gmail.com

Have a great one!

Dancing – PLOL (Pig Laughing Out Loud)

20130214-082704.jpg

Sometimes you come across things on the internet that you absolutely can NOT pass up.  Sometimes you just have to share these things.  I found a couple of those pictures.  I shared them with mom and dad and they laughed so hard as well.

Take some of these for instance.  A belly dancer and a rock star.  Snort – laughing.  I can picture these two shaking what there momma gave them.  Can’t you?  I’m impressed.  I’m amazed.  I’m slightly intrigued and can’t take my piggy eyes off of them… especially the belly dancer – hubba hubba!

20130214-082710.jpg

And the pièce de résistance (bet you didn’t know I spoke French huh? – I’m a pig of many talents!)

20130214-082717.jpg

Do you remember the old 1983 movie, Flash Dance, starring Jennifer Beals as Alex.  Alex was a welder in a steel mill and aspires to becoming a professional dancer.

How about making a newer version of the movie called, “Pig Dance” with the same basis?  I’m in!  I would definitely watch it.  How about you?

Nibbles, Nutty, Bingo and Buddy

20120722-211256.jpg

I have some net friends that simply amaze me.  They are guinea pigs – Nibbles, Nutty, Bingo and Buddy.  I think of them and I think how astonishing they are.  Do you know they go out in the back yard.  Really!?  That is fascinating to me.  I’ve heard of the back yard.  I just haven’t went there yet.  I kind of like my room.

When I think of these little guys, I think of the outrageous things they can do.  20120722-211310.jpgI can see them doing any of these moves.  They are happening pigs!  I promise you little fellows, if I ever make it to the movies, you will be in my contract to appear as well.
