Bacon’s Show and Tell
This month, we are truly having a blast from the past and posting pictures of your grannies and grandpa’s… you know the ones that gave birth to your humans. Let’s see how many pictures we can show off of family for this month’s Bacon’s Show and Tell.
Well, I’m taking one step further. I’m going my Nana’s mom. I’m doing this because I came across the coolest picture of my grandnana and granddada. OMP – for a moment I thought it was the original Bonnie and Clyde – Snorts with piggy laughter.n So here you go – our outlaws – 🙂

I bet you thought that I forgot about Bacon’s Show and Tell this month, didn’t you? Well snorts and oinks – I almost did. There’s been so much going on and all of us here at the Hotel Thompson feel like we’ve been trying to play catch up for what seems like weeks now. But, I’m putting my hooves down. We will take care of my regular favorites – like Bacon’s Show and Tell.
So this month, let’s take an easy route. Let’s show and tell something unique. Let’s truly have a blast from the past and post pictures of your grannies and grandpa’s… you know the ones that gave birth to your humans. Let’s see how many pictures we can show off of family for this month’s Bacon’s Show and Tell.

What were your first thoughts when you met your new parents? Look at these giants! i mean i was an itty bitty guy you know..mind you they were my Grandparents! See they bought me for their son who was 20 ..and well he gave me my name and i spent my time with him when he was not working and such..he still lived with grannie and grandad and i used to sleep in his room on his bed..we called it the bachelor pad..even now in a different home and 14 years later when someone says bachelor pad i go looking!
What was the defining moment when you knew you were in your forever home? Well i think when i was plopped on my Dads giant bed and surrounded by toys..i knew i had hit the jackpot!
What has been your biggest “Oh no, now I’ve done it” moment so far in your home? Oh my .well now there have been MANY of those moments..i am a terrier after all i guess having grannie come out one night to see me counter top surfing and eating left over fish and chips…whoops…
Who do you have wrapped around your paws more – mom or dad – and why? Well since my Dad left home i have been pretty much raised since 1 by grannie and grandad..and grannie had to stop work not long after..so i have grannie well and truly under the paw..but then grandad is a softie too..as is my Dad (Brad) ..i guess though it is grannie who is the easiest to wrap up 🙂
What’s the biggest misconception that humans think about you? Well recently i have shown my grannie and grandad that i am not the tough guy they thought i was..i was always the “boss’ of my brother Forrest and when we were apart ever for vet stuff etc i always seemed just fine..it was Forrest who would pine..well now my brother is gone i do miss him..and have some pretty sad days..so i think i have shown i am a softie..plus i bark like a nut at everyone who i meet but once i settle i am such a big snuggler..guess you can’t judge a dog by it’s bark.
Hope you enjoyed meeting my friend – check back next week for another Spotlight edition!
