Dear Bacon – Me and my friend Hazel were just out running around the hood minding our own business. We crossed the street. There I said it! We crossed the street! Humans went all weird on us and started snapping pictures. I don’t get it. What’s the big deal? Signed Two Chicks
Dear Two Chicks – I don’t get it either my friend. Shakes piggy head. I look forward to that day where the motives are not questioned of two chicks out for a good time crossing the road and humans not going all wild laughing and pointing. I do feel for you. Just chill and carry on is what I say my friends…. oh and stay out of traffic might be more advice 🙂
Dear Bacon, I don’t get it. I honestly don’t get it. You see I work in a conservatory park. Humans come by on boat rides to see us gators out in the wild. There was this one guy that was leaning a little too far over the boat and his sunglasses fell off his head. I was just trying to do the right thing. I got them and was swimming closer to the boat for him to get them. Do you know he wouldn’t reach out and get them? What a thank you huh? Signed The Manners of a Gator
Dear The Manners of a Gator – How ungrateful. You mean to tell me the human would not reach over the boat, into the river, onto your head and get his glasses? What was he thinking? Oh doh! Maybe – and this is just a stretch here – maybe he thought you might be like one of those other gators. You know the ones who like to bite the hand that touches them. I’m just guessing that. Maybe you can leave the sunglasses on the bank of the river for him to retrieve after the trip. I’m sure he will appreciate that. Awesome job my friend!
Dear Bacon – HA! You see I’m there in the front – the white pooch. We were all standing around at my buddies house telling jokes. Who would have thought the guys would take one of my jokes so personal. You know how us guys can be with the boys. Someone happened to say that I wasn’t the great lover like they were. When I told them that their mother didn’t think the same thing, they all got personal and started chasing me. Who would have thought huh? Signed Who Let the Dogs Out
Dear Who Let the Dogs Out – Shakes piggy head. Boys will be boys talking smack and getting into trouble. You know what I say my friend? If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Some people just have no room for jokes and having fun. Keep running out first though – 🙂
Dear Bacon – You should have been here pal! We all planned our weekly play date at the beach with our humans. While they talked and drunk their Starbucks coffee, we sat on the sand. We held hands, sung kumbaya and talked about our humans. It was great fun. We would have loved if you could have joined us! Signed The Great Foursome
Dear The Great Foursome – oh WOW! That looks like so much fun my friends. The next time I’m out your way, count me in!
REMEMBER FRIENDS – Dear Bacon issues can’t happen without YOUR pictures and letters. Remember to email them to me for my weekly Tuesday Dear Bacon issues. Snorts and thanks!

What the heck is that?! You see yesterday, I was in my bedroom twerking and saw this in the mirror. I’ve never seen it before. Okay, I understand. You can’t get past me twerking, huh? Sigh, I’ll explain. Me, Hemi and Mouse Girl were watching MTV on my television. There was that girl from Hannah Montana who doesn’t claim fame to Hannah Montana anymore – you know the one that works the wrecking ball – snorts. Well, she was twerking. Me and Hemi were astonished. What the heck is this? Is this a new dance? How can you move your hips like that?
We noticed that Mouse Girl was quiet so we looked over at her. I’ve never seen her move like that. Mouse Girl has some definite moves for a Maine Coon purr thing. She was giving the ole wrecking ball singer a run for her money. Me and Hemi didn’t know if we should clap or throw money at her. As soon as she saw as looking, she left my bedroom. Personally, I think she was going somewhere else to practice. Since she left though, me and Hemi closed my bedroom door.
We looked at each other and started watching television again. Yes, we can admit it. We tried this twerking thing again. I was in front of my mirror shaking or rather trying to shake it. Hemi had his front paws on the wall and he was getting pretty good at it. I have to admit, these purr things are limber. Me on the other hand, not so much.
I started looking in the mirror again and noticed these two marks near my back end. I’ve never seen those before. I grabbed my camera and took a picture. What the heck are those things? I walked over to Hemi to ask him if he had something similar. He told me to look and I did. OMP (Oh my pig)! He has them too. Have we been probed by aliens? What are these markings?
We ran out of my bedroom to find daddy. We showed him the strange hieroglyphics on our rear ends and asked him about them. I’m still not sure what they are. All daddy would do is this evil little laugh and he said quote, “Boys, you can’t miss what you didn’t know about.” What? What exactly does that mean? Me and Hemi just looked at each other in confusion. I jumped on the couch and tried to look at daddy’s back end but he wouldn’t budge. I don’t get it. Anyone? Anyone have an explanation for us?

I don’t think mom’s sweet tooth will be calling any time soon these days – snorts. Mom and dad went to the market for some Little Debbie’s. I don’t think this is what she had in mind.
She was just standing there looking at all of the different cakes trying to decide just chatting away about this and that. Then dad said she almost jumped over the buggy into his arms. He was completely taken off guard until he looked up and saw this guy looking out at the world.
The next thing he heard was giggles and looked over his shoulder to see a couple of boys laughing like crazy. Then dad did the most amazingly stupid thing I’ve ever heard him do. He walked towards the boys with mom saying, “Get em”.
He walked up to the two lads and what did he do? He gave them high fives. Oh daddy. Why do you go to the market with mom? You always get in trouble there. Snorts – XOXO – Bacon
