What the cream cheese?! I’m serious. My mom and dad do not find trouble. Trouble finds them. I’m serious. You don’t believe me? Okay. Let me show you.
This is exhibit A. This is a real book in the book store written by Ira Alterman. You see it was all innocent. Mom and dad went to a vintage book store to find us anipals some new reading material for our bedtime stories. That is when dad found this book. Mom and dad had a fit and laughed like little kids. I mean I don’t know what the big deal is really. We did have a fat pussy here at the Hotel Thompson and her name was Mouse Girl. Snorts and rolls with piggy laughter.
And no they didn’t buy the book. Can you believe it was $100.00?! Mom said they could keep the fat pussy. Snorts!
What at is the craziest book title you have ever seen?

Greetings blogville friends!! Me and Auntie Sharon from Gentlestitches are co-hosting a Read Me A Story day today – Monday, June 13, 2016.
Mom went through our books and came up with one of our favorite stories – Little Shark. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do… we always like to attack the shark for some reason. You’ll figure out why – snorts with piggy laughter.
Greetings blogville friends!! Me and Auntie Sharon from Gentlestitches are co-hosting a Read Me A Story day scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2016.
We are asking for all of our friends to participate on this date by video taping themselves reading a story to peeps/anipals here on the blogs. Doesn’t that sound like so much fun? It can be a short story, the first chapter, something everyone knows or something new. And the video doesn’t have to be long, 3-5 minutes would be awesome. You know long enough for all of us anipals here in blogville to get involved in your reading. And don’t worry about video taping – it can be of the book, it can be of you reading it or it can be of your anipals while you are reading. Be creative and have fun with Read Me A Story my friends.
Please share this posting and badge with your friends on your blog.
We hope to see you reading a story next month 🙂
UPDATE: If you don’t have the capabilities of video taping your story, don’t fret. You can write it out – draw pictures – use post it notes – be creative and don’t miss out on this great day. The most important thing is to have fun with it.

Welcome my friends to today’s Bacon’s Show and Tell. This month we are highlighting something that is the oldest in your house. As you know, we have been doing a LOT of renovating here at the Hotel Thompson. Mom has an antique trunk that came from her mother’s mother – old huh? Well, mom explored inside of the trunk and found something older than daddy! Can you believe that?
Here is a newspaper from the Bangor Daily News dated Wednesday, January 2, 1963. Can you believe that? If you look close in the upper right hand corner you will even see the cost of the newspaper during this time – EIGHT CENTS! You might be asking yourself WHY would you have such a paper from such long ago? My Nana’s family is actually from Bangor, Maine. Small world huh?
And I told you this newspaper was older than my dad. It is by 4 days – snorts. My dad was born on Sunday, January 6, 1963. What a small world huh?
Today is going to be a twist to our normal Bacon’s Show and Tell. This month we are going to highlight something that is the oldest in your house. It could be a person – snorts watch out daddy of mine. It could be a special dish that you use only on special occasions. It could be a picture frame of a loved one. It could be a dress. Anything. What is the oldest thing you have in your house? Take a picture and share it with a story on April 30th, 2015. Can’t wait to see what you find my friends. Have fun!
