Okay maybe not in the house but close enough – snorts with piggy laughter. My boy Bashful has been hanging out in Florida these past couple of months with Ellis, Allie and Raz having a blast in the sun. Well guess what?
You must jump over and visit Ellis, Allie and Raz and see the birthday party they are throwing Bashful. It’s a hoot!!
Right before mom had surgery, Bashful left the Hotel Thompson again for parts unknown in the world. Where did he go? Well he said this time that he wanted to go somewhere special and he picked the place. Our friend Sharon recently loss her husband Bill. I had mom reach out to Sharon to see if she needed some company because Bashful wanted to come see her to comfort her during this time. Sharon said YES. So we boxed up Bashful and sent him to Florida for a visit with some cute kitties Raz and Allie and their mom Sharon. You may know them as friendsfurevercatblog.
Bashful arrived shortly after mom’s surgery on 11/12/2017.
On 11/21/2017, it seemed Bashful was busy feeding his mouth. Geez, I hope he doesn’t gain weight.
And don’t worry, On 12/13/2017, Bashful seems to be having a great time helping to decorate for Christmas. And Sharon says he is on his best behavior… which is hard to believe.

Bashful is home! He came home late last week and with mom/dad running around like crazy peeps, they finally got to talk to Bashful about his adventures in Wyoming. We can’t say thank you enough to our sweet friends in Wyoming. Bashful has been talking our ears off with everything that he did – visiting mountains, meeting new friends and trying new foods. And look at all of the goodies he came home with – not just one friend but THREE friends. We are having a blast! And I guess our friends in Wyoming knew how stressed mom has been lately – they even sent her some bath stuff to calm down and destress… and trust me she needs that STAT. So sweet friends – THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I don’t think we can say that enough. And sweet friends, don’t forget your sweet badge showing you hosted our Bashful –
And Bashful. Well Bashful is getting some rest this week. Why? Because next week he is going to have an adventure with all of us here at the Hotel Thompson. He is part of our huge surprise for September. It will all be revealed by the end of next week. Squeals with piggy excitement!
Dear friends – guess what?! My pet rock Bashful is off again to new adventures of the unknown. Can you believe that?
He was only back home for less than a week! Now, he’s off somewhere new – somewhere we only know – snorts with piggy laughter.

guess what? on sunday Bashful and me felt howly somehow… so we decided to go to a monastery…
…butt furst we walked through a forest…
… there were so much new smells to discover and my nose had an all you can smell party…
….there were peemails written by a fox… it said ring-ding-ding… and wa-papapapa-pow… makes no sense to me…
…then my dad disappeared from the photo, because he stepped in a hole, the only one in that whole forest and then he was huffy, because the mama laughed at him…
…but Bashful had mercy and invited the wounded warrior for a short rest…
… while we pondered if we should call an ambulance or Lassie&Benji…
…fortunately my dad is a mollycoddle trooper, he needed no amputation nor a cast …
…and so we waddled on and followed the arrows to da abbey…

The other night, mom/dad took Bashful out for some Mexican food. They like to call that his “Going Away” Party. He gobbled down his two hard shelled beef taco’s and then flirted with all of the staff talking about his adventures. The places my rock has been! The restaurant even told hi Bon Voyage to his next trip. Heck, I wished we had signed Bashful up for Skymiles. Just think of the miles we could have accumulated over the years.
But at last, mom took him to the ‘airport’ this morning and sent him off on his next adventure. Where will he land? What will he do? What will he eat? Where will he roll? And the most important question – Who will he be visiting?

Late last week, my human mommy helped my rockin’ friend Bashful pack his bags and head home after an eventful stay in my hometown of New Orleans. He had quite a visit. Between a Pelicans basketball game, gumbo and brass bands, and laundry and red beans and rice, it seems Bashful was always on the go with my humans . . . and he was always eating. He may need some new clothes (one size up) when he gets home. Before Bashful traveled back to Bacon and the Hotel Thompson, I got to spend a very special day with my new little friend.
We were up bright and early last Wednesday and in the car for a road trip. Bashful called shotgun.

It’s been a while since I’ve given you an update on Bashful’s New Orleans adventures. Every time I turn around, that little fella is hopping into my human mommy’s purse and they’re headed out the door. I finally got those two to sit down long enough to tell me where they’ve been and to share a few photos. Wow. They’ve been busy. A couple of weekends ago, Bashful joined both of my humans at Armstrong Park for the Treme Creole Gumbo Festival–New Orleans’ Premier Brass Band Showcase, which is presented by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. In New Orleans, we love a festival. There’s at least one every month–sometimes one each weekend of the month–and they usually revolve around tasty food and great music.

Last Friday, my little sister and I received a very special delivery from our sweet little piggy friend Bacon. (If you already know Bacon, then you know what a special little pig he is. If you don’t know Bacon, click here to link to his blog. I promise you’ll fall in love.) To say that our box from Bacon sent both of us into a tizzy would be quite the understatement. It was packed full of everything a girl could ever want.
Tallulah and I were especially obsessed over the pink piggy toy. We spent quite a bit of time trying to dismember him, but he’s tough and managed to survive . . . at least for the first round.
