Welcome my friends. I’m tweaking my weekly journey with my healthier living. It’s a step in the right direction for sure. I hope you come along for the ride. Instead of day-to-day comments, I’m going to post something from my personal journal to share. Hope you enjoy. Remember all of us go down this path and we are all in it together ❤
Week of 04/29-05/05/2018 – Week 17
“Dear Journal – Things are good. I think I’m controlled of the stress these days pretty well. I’m trying my breathing/relaxing tips and they seem to be working. I’m also trying to work through my pain. Some days I do better than others. I’m also trying to pick up my walking more. I’ve been doing a little at a mile a day. This week goal’s is 1.5 miles a day. I’m picking it up daily to get back where I was before surgery. It’s hard but baby steps. I see Summer finally getting here… yep that’s right – Summer. It seems we might be skipping right over the cool months of Spring and jumping right into the hot days of Summer. I’m so happy – NOT. I’m not hot kind of person. I didn’t complain about the cold – LOL. Baby steps, right?”
This week walked: 6.10
TOTAL 2018 Miles: 123.39
TOTAL 2017 Miles: 541.06
❤ small goals turn into big accomplishments ❤

Hope the pain eases soon. Like now! 😊 Is it from surgery or arthritis? Take care. ♥️

It’s from my rheumatoid arthritis. I’ve been trying to deal with it naturally without meds. It’s a challenge at times but I think I’m getting the swing of things. I hope anyway – LOL

YES! Yesterday it was so windy I thought we were going to do a live episode of Wizard of Oz at the house. Today it’s just H.O.T. Have I mentioned that I don’t like the heat? LOL

Sorry you continue to experience pain. Baby steps is a great approach. Pollen has been very bad here, so we walk early and quickly. Then I brush the pollen off Fiona, and vacuum.

YES!! I think I finally got the pollen beat – LOL. I finally found something that helps with it. Now to beat the rheumatoid arthritis pain. And I’m going to beat it. I know I will! ❤

I know! Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe it. Other times it feels like yesterday for sure. But overall, I feel great from surgery. I’m so glad I did it!

We had a lovely week last week & this week we are barely 40 degrees with a North wind. My OA & Hyperostosis RELLY flare up in the cold. More than I ever remember. Tonight I had a lovely supper my neighbor made for me with a ‘Codeine Chaser’, Such is life right?? Baby steps indeed June!
Much love Sherri-Ellen ❤

LOL – Yes I’m sure that “chaser” works well. I’ve done those before – sometimes the pain is incredible. And you my friend have had your share. Hope everything eases up for you ❤
