Journal to Healthier Living – Week 14

16 Apr

Welcome my friends.  I’m tweaking my weekly journey with my healthier living.  It’s a step in the right direction for sure.  I hope you come along for the ride.  Instead of day-to-day comments, I’m going to post something from my personal journal to share.  Hope you enjoy.  Remember all of us go down this path and we are all in it together ❤

Week of 04/08-04/14/2018 – Week 14

“Dear Journal – It feels good to finally move a little bit more..not giant steps but a bit more.  I’m taking advantage of the good days.  The bad days I’m trying to be nice to myself.  Trying to live in the moment and tossing worries over my shoulder.  Living for the moment sounds so easy and we all attempt it.  But do we really live for the up-most potential in those words?  I’m trying and you know what?  I feel better – less worries, less stress.  Be happy.  I recently saw a sign that I bought for my office.  It reads, “Bloom where you are planted”.  I think that tells us a lot in our lives.  Don’t you?  Of course… life wouldn’t be perfect without having my new sign right near my old reliable sign of “Martha Stewart doesn’t live here.” LOL – Hey, I didn’t say I was perfect.”

This week walked: 7.05

TOTAL 2018 Miles:  105.07

TOTAL 2017 Miles:  541.06

small goals turn into big accomplishments ❤

I was given a little plaque that said “Bloom Where You are Planted”. I love it.

I love this idea, what a great plaque. It would look super at the end of your e-mails.

Howdy, my friend! You are doing awesome after your surgery. I’m positive it takes us a good year to finally find our footing back to the way they were before the surgery. I don’t care what the surgery was for….it’s a major insult to our bodies which takes time to recover afterward.

It really does take time to heal! I did a lot of research and thought 6 months tops and I’ll be back to my old routine. Have I been shocked about that! 9 months to a year is what the doctor keeps telling me and at this point – I believe him! Time… time will be here before I know it ❤

Thank my friend ❤ Sometimes that is the hardest thing to do for yourself. But I'm trying.
