The first American film to show a toilet being flushed on screen was Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. Do you remember the movie? Surely you’ve seen it. I think just the name of the movie puts shivers up and down people’s backs today. And raise your hand my friends – how many of you shower with the bathroom door shut and locked still? You know.. just in case someone gets into your house while showering. Admit it. We don’t judge here.

I didn’t see the movie so I can shower in peace except if there is a spider showering with me. Then it’s everyone for themselves.

I’ve watched a lot of horror movies, and that is the only one that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. (I don’t lock the bathroom door, in case I should fall and need help.)

Shivers to mergatroid. That one bothers my mom to this day still. Especially if mom is alone in the house – which is not often – she has to shut and lock the bathroom door. I don’t think she will ever outgrow that. XOXO – Bacon

Rocky you have me there! That movie freaked me out…a lot….but I can now shower with the bathroom door unlocked as long as apartment door is locked, lol.
I remember when my Mother saw the movie & she had mental health issues (serious issues). She NEVER showered again…..and until I left home neither did I. She would not let me shower? Poor woman…..
Now my all time scary movie is Stephen King’s “IT” (the original as I’ve not seen the 2nd version). Not only am I afraid of clowns now I am afraid of sewer grates, rofwl…..
