I’m sure there is a good story behind this sign. Really, there must be. Are squirrel’s now allergic to nuts? And if so, what are they eating in their place? And just how did they find out they were allergic?
This sign is like saying due to allergies, don’t feed animal crackers to the pig. What?! Not going to happen – snorts and rolls with piggy laughter.
What do you think friends? Can you explain this sign. Give it your best shot.

I think it is rather that children, who could have nut allergies, might come into contact with the nuts fed to the squirrels. As they should not even eat ONE nut and parents (particularly when having more than one child) might not supervise their children 100 % there is a danger for those children.

See there must be some human children who are allergic to nuts who come to park regularly and they don’t want other kids brining nuts weather to eat or feed squirrels and they don’t want no squirrels gettng wrong idea and dragging other nuts in from kids feeding them nuts. Poorly worded sign. Though there maybe a squirrel or two somewhere who is alleric t nuts.

Majormanafemale hit the nail on the head. Kids playground. Kids will put anything in their mouths, just like puppies. Sign is pretty hilarious, though.

hello bacon its dennis the vizsla dog hay if yoo ask me the sitchooayshun is that the fensed in areea is a zombee pen and the zombeez eet the skwirrels but sum of the zombeez ar allerdjik to nuts so they do not want nuts inside the skwirrels wen the zombeez eet them!!! see it mayks perfekt sense!!! ok bye
