Yep – this is what we are like here in sweet Atlanta, Georgia. ONE snowflake and we shut down all business. The weather people were projecting a ‘wintery mix’ starting yesterday evening into late night. Heck, moms work even sent everyone home around 2pm. Mom came home and it was cold – around 31-32 degrees.
After mom got home, it started to drizzle rain. You know the kind of rain that is cold and miserable that makes driving a little iffy with sliding. So last night we all went to bed kind of early. Personally I think mom/dad were looking forward to the great southern Snowmageddon 2017.
This morning mom jumped out of bed like a little kid, ran to the front room and opened the front door in anticipation. Lowers head in disgust and somewhat laughter over mom’s reaction. I’m sharing some pics I took. Don’t laugh ok. The entire town shut down here.

OMD! That’s too funny. In areas where people are not familiar with driving on snow, that happens all too often. In any event, stay warm inside so you don’t have to deal with snow-mageddon. 🙂 Happy weekend ღ

haha….sorry but that does look a little odd. I was just looking at our fire hydrant with a long stick attached to it. The stick is 8 or 9 ft. It is there so the snow plough knows not to bury it in snow. Next to this your snow is quite tiny but you don’t have any winter protection so it would be like us having very hot weather. We wouldn’t know how to get cool…most of us don’t have air conditioning because we may use it once or twice a year. Good luck my friends.

Mom sat here chuckling about the big “snowstorm” in Atlanta. You see, her boss at work moved up to the frozen tundra from Atlanta and since then our winters have been rather mild. She said they never shut down business or let people out early for a snowflake. 🙂 She also mumbled something about being wimpy in Atlanta. MOL!!!

Snorts and rolls with piggy laughter! That’s funny. Atlanta is so weak when it comes to snow. Usually we don’t get it. It’s usually ice and ice is yucky. XOXO – Bacon

Bacon, hope you slept late this morning because it was a Sunday and that’s what you do when it’s cold outside. 🙂
I hope you stayed up long enough to watch the new GA episode. I have to say they’ve turned out some scary episodes of late.
