Journey with Friends

21 Nov

Welcome my friends to our weekly issue of Journey with Friends.  This is a time that we come together for support, for encouragement, for fellowship – all with one single goal in mind – to live better.  Welcome to our journey to share our goals and our accomplishments and our disappointments and frustrations.

Together we can do this!

Hello friends – how did you do last week?  I had my doctors appointment Friday afternoon.  While most things went great and the doctor was greatly impressed with most of my blood work, there were some things that concerned her.  Therefore, I had more blood work done after my appointment.  Hopefully, I will have those results back this week and we can discuss what is going on.  Personally, I think my rheumatoid arthritis is getting worse.  It feels like it is these days.  I’ll let you know once I find out something.

Other than that, we got our last items purchased this past weekend for Christmas. The end of this week, we will begin the wrapping, bagging, boxing and torture of bringing things to the post office.  This will be interesting for sure.

How is your shopping coming along?  How was your week?  Any plans this week?  I know this is the holiday week and I can tell you that I might not be walking a straight line with some food…. I feel some pies coming along – 🙂

Good news joyfully accepted! Hope what ever else they find is minor, if anything.

RA is like that – at least with me it is. It flares up and settles down at will. The fact that I take my medicines religiously has nothing to do with it. It’s got a mind of its own. Hope your doctor has a good idea.

Shopping coming along? You’re joking, right! Jan never remembers what day it is. We can prove that because she consistently forgets our special days. She’ll think of Christmas before New Years, we hope.

Sorry your RA seems to be getting worse. No fun!

I hope the results bring good news and your dogtor can find a treatment for that evil and painful rheumatoid arthritis…. all paws and fingers are crossed.
We still are clueless on the christmas front and ponder abpout some ideas… it came too soon this year…

Thanks my friends. I’m hoping that all of the test results come back this week and we can put a plan into motion. It’s a royal pain wanting to do things and not being able to do them because of aches/pains. Christmas flew here so fast this year. But I think we are done – except for the packing and mailing. Now the nightmare begins, right?

POTP you get good results or at least results that end in a successful treatment. We have given up giving gifts to most of the people in our lives as we don’t need things, so we don’t have much shopping to do!

Thanks my sweet friends! That’s the way me and the hub unit do. We give each other things throughout the year.
