May 20th is a wonderful glorious day. It is National Pick Strawberries Day – what a great day to enjoy. I know that this is a day that the pig Bacon can wrap those jowls around. He absolutely LOVES strawberries and that’s a huge understatement.
Today, start a new tradition. Go find a strawberry field and pick your own strawberries. Start a family tradition. I think Bacon’s mom is actually going to go and pick the little fellow a few of his own today. I wonder if they will let Bacon come and pick his own? Chitter Chatter – that would be a picture for the blog! Enjoy my friends!

oh I remember the strawberry fields of my childhood… we ate the strawberries with all the dirt and with out dirty paws… and they were so much better than the red things in the stores what just look like strawberries but have no taste…

YES! A couple of years ago, mom brought me to a local strawberry fields. I had to be on – can you believe it when I say this – a LEASH while visiting. But let me tell you, so many people kept coming up to me and feeding me strawberries that I didn’t care. I love those things! XOXO – Bacon

It is true. The strawbs do not taste like themselves in the shops. Let’s go a strawberry picking with Bacon. He would show them how to do it! Snorts! 😀

We just started to get small green berries on the strawberries….no way are we picking these little gems. We’ll wait till their red, thank you very much. hehe
