Journey with Friends

29 Feb

Welcome my friends to our weekly issue of Journey with Friends.  This is a time that we come together for support, for encouragement, for fellowship – all with one single goal in mind – to live better.  Welcome to our journey to share our goals and our accomplishments and our disappointments and frustrations.

Together we can do this!

Hello friends!

The week has finally come to tighten up the ship and get busy.  Our visiting friends left us last Friday so last week was a bust in changing our way of eating.  Trust me – the places we visited and the food we ate was definitely out of this world.  We will be highlighting that on Wednesdays during the next month for Travels of the South.  It is so worth looking for.

So with that behind us that means this week means business.  We went to the market yesterday and got everything ready for eating clean.  Hopefully next week, we should be at a better place and the scales should be happily DOWN for a change.  Thanks for sticking with me my friends.

How did you do this past week?

I can’t wait to read about this fabulous time with friends :o) My momma found that military diet thing on fb and wrote the things she needs in her book… and after that she celebrated this hard work with a whole bucket of cookies&dough ice cream… uh man :o(

Snorts – well we can’t waste food brother. My mom does the same thing. She can just ‘throw away’ food so she and dad are human disposals to start the diet tomorrow… cause you know here in the south there is a saying, “There’s always tomorrow….”. Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

Freeze up those Girl Scout cookies and ration them out for several weeks or they will sneak up on you. Unless they were made of clean Girl Scouts.

Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks without chocolate and extra sugar. My headaches are gone. Something is still bothering my gut, so I am continuing to do an elimination diet. Sigh! Hope eating clean goes well for you!

Oh Auntie Sharon. Mom/dad said they had an amazing time with their friends. Mom is actually doing a Travels of the South series every Wednesday starting tomorrow on their fun times. XOXO – Bacon
