Snorts – mommy helped out some Girl Scouts weeks ago by purchasing some cookies. Guess what came in today? Yep, you are right – the cookies. Now, remember mom is trying to change her eating styles – especially after the food she shoveled ate last week. And yes, the Thin Mints are hers. She says that she is going to put them in the freezer because they freeze well.
We shall see how many she gets of daddy’s Peanut Butter Delights/Tagalongs or his Caramel DeLites/Samoas. I’m licking my piggy lips just thinking about those. I’m sure mom will freeze some of dad’s stash too. Why should she be the only suffering – snorts with piggy laughter.

My Mom always gets one box of Thin Mints – the Girl Scouts stand outside the exit at the grocery store and TRAP everyone into buying some. Sneaky huh!

I freeze my Thin Mints, too! And refrigerate the Peanut Butter Delights…
To stay “good”, I try to only eat 1 serving at a time 😉 Hope that helps you feel better about eating them!

Oh yes. Mom was so excited about leaving work yesterday she forgot to bring them home last night – so hilarious. But at least she told daddy about them and he has something to look forward to tonight. And yes, we are freezing and refrigerating most of them – except 1 box that dad will limit himself to. Mom’s favorite season is Girl Scout cookie season. She only bought 3 boxes – 2 shortbread and 1 thin mints. She will share the shortbread ones with me!

I love the thin mints too. They are harder to find in Canada. We don’t have all the other fancy kinds. Giving up gluten, this is something I miss!
