Explain This To Me

31 Jan

So mom goes to the store yesterday to buy a few things.  One of the things on her list is deodorant. So mom goes down the aisle looking for deodorant and starts laughing.  Daddy asks what is up.  Mommy said told him that Secret has a line of deodorant out with fragrances from around the world.  For instance, Brazil, Hawaii, Paris and she even saw one from Australia.  Daddy then started laughing.  I mean it is kind of funny.  What exactly do these places ‘smell’ like?  And by all means, if you had a deodorant from your area, do share – what would it smell like?

A deodorant from my area: a mixture between butter cookies (world’s most famous cookie – http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/9839777/German-police-hunt-Cookie-Monster-over-theft-of-gold-biscuit.html), horse dung (we have a huge veterinarian college – and one of the oldest), elephant dung (we quite successfully breed indian elephants) and Diesel-exhaust (there is a VW-plant in this town – which produces mainly vans – most of which have a Diesel-engine).

Hmmm…what does tons of snow smell like? I know I wouldn’t buy it but I am intrigued with the Hawaii version. Has to be coconuts, pineapples…you know like pina coladas! Now that is a good smell. Sure hope it isn’t fishy.
