Welcome my friends to Bacon’s Show and Tell for January. This month we are talking about something embarrassing that has happened in our life. It could be something from child hood, adult hood – last week for that matter.
My mom/dad are known for their troublesome ways. In fact, I do believe that trouble finds them each and every time they leave the Hotel Thompson. It’s just going to happen. I’ve accepted that in my piggy life. So today, I want to share two stories with you on my parents on something embarrassing.
First up – Dad
Now if you have been reading my blog for any length of time you know that dad is a character. One night dad and mom decided to go out to dinner down the street at a local cafe. Dad put on some sweats and an old t-shirt, nothing elaborate. They drove down to the dinner, got out and started to walk to the front door. The restaurant had windows all along the front of it and you could see inside as well as the people see outside. Dad went to step up on the walkway and right about that time his pants got tired and fell down to his ankles. Nothing like dinner and a show huh? Snorts with piggy laughter.
Second up – Mom
Sweet mom. Dad’s always picking on her and getting away with it in public places. You know for two old people, they can be cute this way. Dad will sometimes sneak a kiss or pat mom on the butt and nobody ever catches him doing it. One time, mom/dad were at the mall at a store named Macy’s. They were walking around and mom thought she was going to pat dad on the butt like he does her. She went and did it. Well about that time, this elderly lady turns the corner and catches mom right in the action. Oh dear piggy heavens. You would have thought with the way the elderly lady acted that she had caught mom grabbing dad’s front side and not his back side. It was priceless. Of course, dad walked off leaving mom standing there all embarrassed while said lady gave mom a tongue lashing like you wouldn’t believe. When mom tried to walk away, the elderly lady followed her telling her that her actions were unladylike and very unbecoming a southern lady.

I would have told that lady where she could stick her behaviour rules – the 50ies called and wanted them back. And who died and made that old hag Lord of your humans’ underpants?

Snorts with piggy laughter. Love this comment! So true. Here in the south, little old ladies think they rule. Shaking piggy head – hilarious. XOXO – Bacon

Snorts – it’s one of the downfalls of living here in the south. Everyone wants you to act like a ‘lady’. Snorts! XOXO – Bacon

Your folks are a hoot (or hoots) my friend, Bacon. It must be a blast living with them. Most of Mom’s embarrassing moments revolve around the air that blows out of her you know what. Dad is always teasing her about it. What Mom? Yes, I do want my dinner tonight. Ok, I made that part up about Mom.

Snorts with piggy laughter. You just tell mom to tell everyone what I say when tooters start happening. They’re food ghosts coming back to haunt. There you go – mystery solved Scooby Doo – LOL. XOXO – Bacon
