Do you have a bedtime ritual? Something that you do every night before Mr. Sandman visits you? Me being a piggy – Ireally demand a schedule. When my schedule is off, so is my cute little personality – snorts!. For instance, every night mom starts putting me to bed around 8:30pm. I say start because I have a routine here at the Hotel Thompson.
At 8:30pm, mom tells me it’s time for bed. We go into the kitchen to get my bedtime snack and a drink of water.
At 8:45pm, I’ll start wobbling down the hall to my bedroom. I’ll take care of my ‘business’ and get into my toddler bed.
At 9:00pm, mom com
es into my bedroom to tuck me into bed and kiss me good night. Sometimes she tells me a story. Sometimes she sings to me and pets my back until I fall asleep. Other times, she sets the timer on my television so I can watch one of my favorite shows for a while before I fall asleep.
At 9:15pm, mom puts Houdini to bed. He’s not one for bedtime stories – he thinks he’s too big for that. Can you believe it? So, she rocks him and puts his onsie jammies on and tucks him in for the night. Rotten little guy – rolls piggy eyes and snorts with laughter.
At 9:30pm, mom and dad go to bed. Mouse Girl and Hemi follow them cause they sleep in their room on the big bed. Hemi snuggles right between mom/dad and has to touch both of them. Mouse Girl sleeps at the bottom of the bed and stretches as far as she can between mom/dad’s feet.

Yep Cuddles in bed with mum then she puts me back in my Sleep den and goes and gets my bedtime greens and fills my bowl with the last of my snacks for the day,xx Speedy

Hubby takes Ali to bed and they snuggle in and go to sleep and then when I get in there I have to fight for space<:)

Cole goes up to bed with Dad, and when Momma comes up she brings him some trail mix. Kibble, cookies, glucosamine treat,, and cranberries. He eats in bed. crunch crunch.

My FunTom gathers at my feet each evening and warms my “paws” – and my Kessy begs for treats, then she gets off the bed for a while and comes back later.

My only ritual is that as soon as mom is in bed, I have a special spot right next to her that I curl up into — especially now that it is getting colder.

Sweet, B. Your house is a regular Goodnight Moon… I get my teeth brushed, go out to leave a peemail, get my face washed, and then Mom picks up all my toys and vacuums the floors on account of all my furs from the day. Whenever she goes to bed, I follow, but no jumping on the bed till she tells me. Then I snuggle up with her, eat my last cookie, and we watch TV and go to sleep.

well… I have a bedtime ritual… and my mom wrote a post some time ago…. it sits still in draft, because that is so crazy, that my mom said we better don’t publish that thing…. they all will think we have a screw loose… hmmmm…. that’s no big news, huh?

In the Evening we check the World news because it is morning there. We can’t go to sleep until we find out what Mr Trump has been up to. :-D. Then the people and critters get nice and comfortable and settle down for a good nights sleep. Jack sleeps on Shane’s bed until Shane is asleep and then goes off to his own bed.

LadyMum getss ready fur bed an plays wit at thee same time. shee throws mee mousie of choice an wee play FECTCH an sumtimess SHEE has to go get thee mousie. Then mee lets her reed fur a while an shee playss with thee feathers on a stick toy with mee. Around midnite mee has mee **kissesss** an letss her fall into bed to sleep.Mmee of course stayss up to “paw-troll” around thee palce 😉 (play more toyss…)

It took a while to get LadyMum used to mee roo-teen….butt shee iss leernin Unccle Bacon….
Yur Mumma gets up earlier then LadyMum so shee can stay up later. Shee likes to sit inn thee quiet an read with her readin lite….it calms her down fur bed….ususallee… 😉

Your mom’s nightly routine sounds fabulous. Mom found a new app on her phone last night and when she went to bed, she colored. Can you believe that?! She said it was totally relaxing and creative. XOXO – Bacon

A routine…of course we do, Bacon. Every night about 3:30pm, mom reads to Kali and I and dad. She starts reading and we follow the sound of her voice into the bedroom. Mom reads to us till almost 10pm and then says night to all of us and kisses daddy good night. Then mom turns out the light and we all settle down for the night. Then Kali or myself get up and have a pooh in the kitty litter and dig for China. Mom gets up and throws the stuff down the toilet….we watch to make sure this is done properly. Then we head back to bed.
