Another week down my friends. It was a busy week with mom/dad’s anniversary and Bacon’s birthday but it was a fun week. Bacon has also been busy getting ready for his 31 Days of Spook in October and of course mom has started her DIEt again for the gazillionth time – rolls puppy eyes. Do all women go through this? Please tell me yes – barks!
The weather here has started getting cooler. Bacon is loving that. I myself am not sure. This six pound body gets cold like you wouldn’t believe. A couple of nights, mom has made a fire (by flipping the switch – barks with laughter). I crawl up in her lap on her chaise to feel the heat and watch the flames. That is the life my friends. And don’t you love my shirt? I got it just for Bacon to pick on him. He’s not too fond of it for some unknown reason? Maybe because 
it makes my butt look small?
Oh, and this is hilarious. When mom/dad came home Sunday from their night out, guess what happened? The toilet decided it didn’t want to work anymore and wouldn’t flush. Isn’t that awesome? So mom had to go the local Home Depot store to pick up what she called a flapper. I wouldn’t let her out of my sight so guess who got to go with her? Yep that would be me. I was her assistant. So we went together. That place is cool. The smells are funny but there was so many people that wanted to pet me and oohh and aaww over me. Of course, I ate that up! I was the main attraction in the plumbing aisle.

I’ve heard that Home Depot allows dogs to go in and walk around for exercise in bad weather. I do not know if this is true and Mom always chickens out to try it. I’m dying to go there and sniff the lumber (and maybe the plumbing aisle, now that you mention it).

Barks! Mommy carried me throughout the store. You would have thought that some people have never seen pooches before. They stopped, petted me and fawned over me. Can you believe some people asked mommy if I bite. Which is great to ask but me bite? Of course not… unless maybe you are covered in peanut butter…then I might just lick you to death – barks with puppy laughter. ❤ Houdini

Home Depot eh? We never get to go anywhere cool. Just the vets. That’s not cool. It’s just as well cause Home Depot would probably scare me and I’d run all over the floors…..making it very hard to tell me it was ok. Kali would be singing the songs of her ancestors . It would be messy. MOL

my son (the gymnast athlete) says start with one minute 5 days a week and build up by one minute (when you are ready) He is the encouraging king of small achievable goals. He says “every step counts” ❤

I think I love your son! Mommy did a lot of walking yesterday around the county courthouse going to meetings. Her phone keeps track of it – she did over a mile which is awesome! Her and daddy are going to walk tonight before dinner for 15 minutes…. they are going to build up like your son says, a little bit every week. XOXO – Bacon
