Well my friends, it was great knowing you. Tomorrow I leave for my great Piggy Summer Camp. Yay. Joy. Stop me now from the fun. Really, seven entire days away from mom, dad, Houdini, Mouse Girl and Hemi. Seven days away from the Hotel Thompson. Away from my private bedroom. My television. My toddler bed. My turn down service. My room service. Seven days of living like ‘other pigs’. Rolls eyes – whatever that means.
You know my relationship with Hemi the butt slapper here at the Hotel Thompson. I would rather be slapped in the captain’s quarters by his g
ginormous paw several times in a row then to have to leave tomorrow. But it’s definite. I’m going. Mom has paid for my summer camp. She has packed my bags.
I even tried to talk some sense into daddy but he didn’t cave either. He said whatever mommy decided, he was good with. Come on dad, grow some and tell me I can stay at home. Snorts.
So my friends if you don’t ever hear from me again – if something should happen to me in the woods – know that I ❤ you all. You have become my friends. My cohorts. My partners in crime. I love you each and every one!

Hello my friends – barks! This week has been a little hectic here at the Hotel Thompson. We’ve been trying to get mommy back up and going on her feet. She is walking somewhat faster than a turtle now and her catch in her giddy up seems to be subsiding some. She still has mean old Mr Arthur nipping at her right hip but hopefully soon she can slap him off. Mom has also been getting Bacon ready for his camp – he leaves tomorrow for seven entire days. Mommy is standing her ground but between you and me, I saw her crying a bit the other day. I think she is going to miss that pig more than she is letting on. And to tell you the truth, I think us anipals will too.
This week we also went and spent some time with Nana at her house for a visit. All mommy had to do was tell me, “Let’s go see Nana, Tinkerbelle and Dingo.” I was at the front door before mom/dad – barks! Daddy was trying to catch some sleep while we were visiting. Personally, I think he got comfortable and cool and was out like a light. But don’t worry, Tinkerbelle checked on him to make sure he was still breathing – BOL. And Dingo crawled up beside him for some quick zzz’s too. I’m glad to report that Dingo is growing and getting bigger. He still seems all legs to me – but I guess that’s because I’m so small.
While Dingo and Tinkerbelle were checking out daddy, I was getting my Nana time. Well that’s all for me my friends – yawns – I hope you had a wonderful week as well. Happy weekend!
