Billy the Beaver Did What?!

13 May

Oh my friends – with everything going on here at the house, I got way behind on some important things.  Like Billy the Beaver.  Shakes piggy head.  Right before the renovation, he started chewing up the furniture.  Just look at what he did to this table stand – those teeth of his are powerful and very, very destructive.

Unlike his sweet sister Beatrice who went on to have a wonderful modeling career, Billy is a little character who seems to stay in trouble here.  There’s lots of wood out now from after the renovation so we are having to keep an eye for those teeth of his who seems to want to gnaw everything in sight.

Who knows what he might get into next.  Stay tuned to find out.  I will definitely be keeping a piggy eye on him!

Must be a distant relation to Molly……although, wood does count as bulk?

Please keep him out of your room… imagine you will land on the floor when you go to bed tonight, because Mr. Beaver ate your bed… :o)

EXACTLY why my room is off limits to Mr. Billy. He better hope he doesn’t start nibbling on mom’s kitchen island. That will be really interesting. XOXO – Bacon

My word!! Billy does tend to nibble a lot. He must be getting fat by now. We hope he’s out there exercising Bacon. Beatrice told us he tended to be lazy if left to his own devices. How’s his tummy? After eating this finished wood, we found Beatrice would get an evil looking twitch in her eye. That’d when mom went looking for small willow branches for her. It turned out the wood had some poison in the finish and the natural wood brought her back to her old self. Just sayin’

I think beavers are like us squirrels… they have to chew on wood to keep their teeth from growing completely out of their mouths. Besides, I don’t think Billy Beavers gives a dam…. 😉

Well, you can’t keep a good beaver down……they will have their wood by hook or crook or chairleg!

Snorts! I’m going to try both. I gotta find something to cut his teething. Between him and Houdini, we may not have a house left soon Auntie Sharon. XOXO – Bacon

This piggy would love to snort with you :)
