Bacon’s Tales of Terror

13 May

Welcome my friends to my monthly Bacon’s Tales of Terror.

Today we have a great one for you.  You see this is something that I saw.  Me and mom were going through some neighborhoods in her Smart car.  You know just driving around hoping that the flow of the car would make us sleepy.  What?  Yes we do that.  Mommy needs help sleeping sometimes – snorts.

So there we were on a back street and that’s when I saw this.  I started snorting… of course after I ducked down from being scared.  What the heck was that?  Mom had to make a circle and come back for a second look.  That’s when she saw it.  She would have ducked too but being in the Smart car there wasn’t much room.  So then we had to make a third circle.  You know to get it on camera.

What the heck were these people thinking?  What the heck is that?  A bird bath?  A head?  A head in a bird bath? Who lives at the house – Satan?  The Munster family?  The Adams Family?  Do birds really “drink” from that fountain?  All great questions.  What would YOU do or feel if that was in your neighborhood?  Would you walk by the house during the day?  What about night?  Would you be brave enough to walk to the door on Halloween?

My cousin would love it – just – she shares her patch of a garden with other persons, who might not think likewise.

Oh bro, that’s the crib of that Bluebeard, who killed all his 87 wives via “off with their head”… but I had no clue that he decorated his crib that way…. Wonder what kinds of birds will visit that birt bath… probably just vultures and crows, huh?
Guess what, we did that too…. to drive around without a destination, just into the sun set, with Iggy Pop as the “Passenger” on the way to nowhere …. but that was before our gaz prices exploded :o)

This is true and that is why we take the Smart car who has excellent gas mileage. It’s fun sometimes just to roam like that stupid scary gnome on television. There’s no telling where you will end up or what you will see like this scary bird bath. No way I would be bathing in it. Couldn’t make me. XOXO – Bacon

That’s cool. They should put a baseball cap on the head sometimes. Companies could even pay to have it wear their hat as advertising.

hehe……weird is the right word. Different folk…bet they’d be interesting and really could spin a story. The Halloween goodies would be awesome because probably hardly anyone goes to their house. The woman drowning in the fountain is so unique….bet one of them made it.

I think so too. I can’t believe it the first time I saw it. Me and mom were going through the streets again last night and saw it one more time. We didn’t notice it the first time but last night we saw that this house is right across from an old, OLD cemetery. Now that makes it even worse in my piggy book. XOXO – Bacon
