REMINDER!
Paying it forward is is something that we want to start in the new year of 2015. You know the old saying of, “Do onto others as you want them to do onto you?” Well, let’s put it in action in 2015. Every month on the first Wednesday of the month, we are hosting Pay it Forward with my friends from Nikitaland.

Paying it forward is simple. You do something for someone out of the blue, not asking for anything in return just because you can. It’s little things that count. Karma comes around for all of us.
Here are a few examples:
Pay for the person behind you at a drive thru – could be as simple as a cup of coffee or breakfast.
Help someone take their groceries to their car at the grocery store.
Give extra as a tip to your waiter/waitress.
Visit a elderly neighbor and spend some time with them. Read to them or bring them lunch. Listen to them as they talk.
Pay for the person behind you at a toll booth.
Put money in a parking space for someone whose time is getting close to expiring.
Make a donation.
Cook lunch or dinner for a neighbor in need.
Offer to babysit for free to a couple who needs a night out.
See, it’s the little things that count that make the most. Just being there for someone to see their smile can bring great karma your way. So in the new year of 2015 – let’s Pay it Forward.
You have an entire month to Pay it Forward. Do little things. We will meet back here on my blog on April 1, 2015 to post about what we have done and how we have touched someones life in 2015. I hope this inspires you my friends ❤

Oh Squeals my friends – guess who made it home?? That pet-rock of mine Bashful!
He came knocking on the front door of the Hotel Thompson late Monday afternoon. I was so excited. I could hear the little tyke snoring in the box and knew exactly what it was. Of course, daddy said I had to wait until mommy got home from the worky place to let Bashful out to freedom. And that was good because the little guy was snoring so sweetly – imagine the trip across the pond. I would have been passed out too!
But once mommy got home and the box was opened – oh my piggy heavens. Bashful was non-stop talking about all of his adventures with sweet Fozzie in Australia. WOW – did he do bunches of cool things. One of the things was he went up in a hot air balloon and not only soared with the clouds but got a certificate about it as well. OMP Squeals!! If you want to read all about Bashful’s travels and adventures while in Australia, a great place to start will be here.
And look at all of the treats Bashful came home with – double squeals. Me and mom were fighting dad off of the cookies. They are so delicious!! And of course, Bashful came home with friends…. but that’s another story for another posting that is coming soon. Real soon. Be ready my friends – it’s a stunner!
And just where in the world will Bashful roll up to next? hhmm – makes you wonder doesn’t it. Will it be in your neck of the woods? (P.S. For those on the list, you haven’t been forgotten. It just takes time. An email will be sent to the next person very soon for the next adventure. AND, if YOU want to be put on the list, email me at Bacon.Thompson@gmail.com my friends).

Okay. I’m going to be first and tell you I don’t get this. I really don’t get this. I’ve heard mom and dad talk about it but until I saw it for myself – shakes piggy head – I just don’t get it. Me and mom went for a ride in the Smart car and we are riding down the boulevard coming home. We got stopped at the stop light and mom sees this. Now trust me, that woman is faster with the camera than I am and she was able to snap a picture.
The guy was walking funny and that was what got both of our attention. He wasn’t ‘walking’, he was wobbling down the street. Shuffling back and forth to keep his pants up that were somewhere at the top of his knees. Strange behavior for a human is what I’m saying. Then, he tried – and I stress TRIED – to step up on the sidewalk. What the cream cheese! That my friends was the funniest sight this piggy has ever imagined or seen. He couldn’t do it! He had to literally bend over, hold his pants up and then step up. Really?
Now me and mom just couldn’t wait to get home and tell everyone about this character. It was too funny. I’m so glad mom got a picture because no one would believe this. *This* is suppose to be the ‘in’ thing to do – the style of the young peeps. They can have it. If I had jeans down pass my knees, snorts – I would be rolling places myself.
And of course when mom and dad started talking about it, you wouldn’t believe some of the things that were said. Never fear though because this little oinker was taking notes. You’re welcome 🙂
- IF your pants are so low that you have to bend over to hold them up while stepping up, then PULL THEM UP.
- IF your pants are so low that people see more crack out of your back end than on the streets, then PULL THEM UP.
- IF your pants are so low that little old ladies mistaken your crack as an ATM machine, then PULL THEM UP.
- IF your pants are so low that your ‘equipment’ in the front needs an umbrella as to not get wet when it is raining, then PULL THEM UP.
What happens if he has to run? And you know what. I would love to meet the person that started this…. and slap him with one of my hooves.
Have you seen this ‘swag’ in your area. Comments?
